Friday, July 30 - Sunny Around 100F

That morning, I was up around 8am. That's my normal wake-up time. And since I hadn't gone to the Poly yet, I decided that it was now or never.

At 9:30am, I was there.

The first thing I did was go down to Captain Cooks and get the Tonga toast I had been hearing about. Don't shoot me, but I just think it was alright. I loved the bread and the cinnamon on top. But it seems the bananas weren't that good. Maybe I had a weird batch? Dunno, they were greyish/brownish. I had bananas twice on my meals during that trip, and both times they weren't that good.

When I was done, I decided to walk around the lobby and snap some pics.

And before I left, I decided to get some coffee. Yep! It is the BEST in the world. I should have brought some home. Big regret.

After walking around and looking at the stores, I took the monorail back to the resort.

I didn't feel like staying at the hotel, so I got ready and took the monorail to Epcot. I got to take the "Tron" monorail. And the driver was in training. That was interesting.

I got to Epcot around 11:30am.

The first thing I did......

It was the longest wait line I stood in for that show during the entire trip. I was stopped at the turnstile and had to wait around 15 min.

As I exited, I asked a CM what the "EO" stands for. Apparently, it means "New Dawn". I quite like that meaning.

I wanted to go back to the Japan store. So I decided to take the boat to Morocco. I had never taken those boats. It was nice. I quite enjoyed that.

Once in Morocco, I walked to Japan, made a few purchases, then walked back towards Mexico.

I did stop at the USA pavillion to get a frozen lemonade, though. Yummy!

Before leaving the park I did stop at Mousegears, but I can't figure out if I bought anything, or if it was just for the A/C.

I then took the monorail back to the resort. Once there, I got a snack and went back to the room. It was 2pm. And it was time to rest a bit.

At 5:10pm, we took the monorail to the Magic Kingdom.

We had a ressie at Tony's. As soon as we got to the Magic Kingdom, we went to check-in at Tony's. We were seated really soon.

The meal was great as usual. Again, I don't have pictures but will take some during my next trip.

After dinner, my dad went back to the hotel, while my mom and I hung around. We wanted to soak it in. You know, just be there.

After a while, we decided to go back to the hotel.

We had a relaxing evening, as usual. We watched 3 hours of AFV. I went to bed right after the fireworks, even though I didn't watch them.

Saturday, July 31 - Sunny 105F

Today was packing day. We had nothing planned. I was exhausted and only wanted to eat and sleep. I did spend most of the day in bed. I was feeling a bit dizzy. It might have been the huge sunburn I had gotten a few days earlier. Lucky for us, there were cool marathons on ABC family. We watched a few Tim Burton movies. I think it was Beetlejuice and Edward. Then it was the 3 Back to the Future movies. It was awesome.

So we packed while watching those movies.

In the afternoon, I went to print the boarding passes in the lobby. It was really easy and convenient.

The only think that wasn't that fun is that mousekeeping really took it's time to come to our room. We wanted extra towels since we all wanted to shower that day for the next day. At 2 pm, still nothing.

So we had to call.

We went to bed early. DME was coming to get us at 8:55am the next day. We wanted to be sure to be ready and not rush.

I've been a little behind! Congrats on getting accepted into the program!!! So excited for you!

Sounds like your morning was a nice, relaxing one around the Poly! I've been wondering about that Tonga Toast as well...wasn't sure about those bananas!

So sad your tr is almost over! Maybe I'll just have to write a trip report this time around!

Wow so exciting! I went to give the Simple Plan Foundation my painting. They loved it! They were really happy. Even met one of the guys' dad and he gave me....... a FREE ticket to the event. That's a 100$ ticket!

I can't wait to see how much it goes for. Can things finally turn around in my life? It looks good ;)
