Friday, July 30 - Sunny Around 100F
That morning, I was up around 8am. That's my normal wake-up time. And since I hadn't gone to the Poly yet, I decided that it was now or never.
At 9:30am, I was there.
The first thing I did was go down to Captain Cooks and get the Tonga toast I had been hearing about. Don't shoot me, but I just think it was alright. I loved the bread and the cinnamon on top. But it seems the bananas weren't that good. Maybe I had a weird batch? Dunno, they were greyish/brownish. I had bananas twice on my meals during that trip, and both times they weren't that good.
When I was done, I decided to walk around the lobby and snap some pics.
And before I left, I decided to get some coffee. Yep! It is the BEST in the world. I should have brought some home. Big regret.
After walking around and looking at the stores, I took the monorail back to the resort.
I didn't feel like staying at the hotel, so I got ready and took the monorail to Epcot. I got to take the "Tron" monorail. And the driver was in training. That was interesting.
I got to Epcot around 11:30am.
The first thing I did......
It was the longest wait line I stood in for that show during the entire trip. I was stopped at the turnstile and had to wait around 15 min.
As I exited, I asked a CM what the "EO" stands for. Apparently, it means "New Dawn". I quite like that meaning.
I wanted to go back to the Japan store. So I decided to take the boat to Morocco. I had never taken those boats. It was nice. I quite enjoyed that.
Once in Morocco, I walked to Japan, made a few purchases, then walked back towards Mexico.
I did stop at the USA pavillion to get a frozen lemonade, though. Yummy!
Before leaving the park I did stop at Mousegears, but I can't figure out if I bought anything, or if it was just for the A/C.
I then took the monorail back to the resort. Once there, I got a snack and went back to the room. It was 2pm. And it was time to rest a bit.
