if it was worth it to use the emh? they are going to be open so late so i'm not sure that we would really need it? and is morning or evening emh better?tia

You can decide that day when you are in the park or if you have the hopping option you can you to the respective park. EMH does not cost anything all you have to do it show your Disney Resort Key and you get a band.

As for is the morning or the evening better I think it depends on your preference. I know I will not use the morning because I can not wake up early enough to make it in. The evening is nice because I am a night person and most often already at the park.

We always give EMH a try at the beginning of our trips. Last May, we quickly changed our plans to avoiding EMH parks. We did the same during our Jul./Aug. and Oct. trips, too. During our Christmas trip, we were very surprised to find the parks virtually empty during EMH. I'm so glad we didn't give up on EMH the first time we tried it!

We love EMH when they are in the evening! When we were there this last December, we were able to ride Splash Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean by ourselves! It's so nice to be able to walk onto the rides and not have the crowded streets to walk on. We usually go back to the our room and take a nap in the afternoon so we will have plenty of energy to make it until 1 or 2 in the morning! :sunny:

we've been in June several times and we love morning EMH. We are fairly early risers and it's great to beat the heat and crowds. Plus, since LOTS of people stay late for the evening EMH, they're too tired for morning EMH the next day which makes it less crowded for us!

In April, I'm planning to go to the park where EMH was held the night before...here's hoping that's good strategy!!

When my girls were younger, morning EMH was a must for us. We could get so much done and then be ready to head back for a rest around lunch. Now that they are older, we prefer the evening EMH. We can sleep in and hit the parks around 4 and stay for EMH. It really just depends on your family's habits and preferences. With that being said, we still try to fit in one morning EMH at AK and MK.

That depends. Are you going in early June or mid/late June? If it's early June, you'll probably want to take advantage of them; but once it hits June 10 and onwards, EMH days are total zoos! If you're park hopping, taking advantage of the early openings would probably be okay, as long as you hop to a different park afterwards. But the EMH evenings? I went in the middle of June on EMH days this past year, and I will NEVER do that again. Two hour waits for most of the rides, fastpasses for six hours later... People were packed in like sardines (or pickles) everywhere. That, combined with the heat/humidity, can make it less than an enjoyable experience - and that's BEFORE the EMHs even went into effect! It seemed to only get more crowded after dark.

But that's just my $.02.

We had a horrible experience last June at MK on a Friday night for EMH. It was so crowded it made me nuts, so we left. It was shoulder to shoulder, and that is just NO FUN to me. I personally will never do evening EMH again at MK during a busy time like summer. Morning EMH worked fantastic for us in June. I would stick with that if I were you. It is well worth it to get up early because you can get so much more done. Then if you need a nap in the afternoon, you'll have gotten so much done that morning you can take a nap while the parks are hot and crowded, then go back in the evening when it's a little cooler.

I used to love the E-Nights at MK, but when we went to evening EMH at MK last June, we didn't get to much of anything. Way too crowded! I haven't tried EMH at the other parks, but I'll never try it at MK again. We are now early morning converts! We used to drag in around 10:30 or 11:00, but for the last couple of trips we made a point to be at the parks at opening, and that works out much better.
