We are going back real soon but I need help

Hey Everyone!

We just returned 3 days ago, but we are going back in December after squeezing in a 10 day caribbean getaway in Nov

We are thinking of going mid week for 4 nights Dec 12-16th at the GF. What I need to know is:

Is that a good time for crowds? I think it's before holiday recess and mid week (we don't have kids so totally clueless about this stuff)

We have never been to MVMCP or seen the Christmas lights at MGM. I know you need tix for MVMCP but do you need them for Osbourne lights or is that every night?

What the temp?? jeans and jackets I hope??

I would like to go during this time as DH birthday is the 14th but if there is a better time, we would go with that.

Anything else I need to know about WDW this time of year??

Osborne lights are part of the addmission. And the lights are already going up.
Jeans and a jacket are a good idea, especially for night. Depending on where you're coming from. That time is a good time because school isn't out yet, and all the lights are up. You can also see the candle light proccesional at Epcot. And I think they might have the Holiday Illuminations again this year.
Crowds won't be much different from what happened over the weekend... I was just there too for a long weekend.
It's really nice to see everything. And make sure you take a glimpse at all the hotels. At least the hotels on the monorail route, and dont forget to check out Fort Wilderness, Wilderness Lodge. And if you want a nice little ride. Take the Firework night time wagon ride through the campgrounds. 8$ a person, and you get to watch Wishes from across the lake. I've always enjoyed the view of fireworks on the water.
