We are getting evacuated off small world. Exciting!

My son and I were on Space Mountain when the ride stopped. The lights came on while we were at a straight part half way through just sitting there with a few other cars. CM's came out and started manually pushing the cars down the track and down the hill and then momentum/gravity took over and the cars finished the ride on their own. It was creepy though, I kept feel like I had to duck my head. You have no idea how close the track is above your head until the lights come on and then you are convinced you're going to be decapitated!!!

We were evaced off of dinosaur in April made the mistake of wearing flip flops that day we were told to keep left but there was oil or tar on the ground and my shoe got glued to it and I fell over and sprained my ankle so I got an evac and a taste of DAK’s first aid that day

I experienced an evac on Test Track this past summer. We were right at the point where the truck lights come at you out of nowhere. The CMs obviously were well rehearsed on how to safely get everyone out. I climbed out of the car and we were all walked back down to the bottom of the ride. FPs were given to everyone

How awful! I know how much a sprained ankle can hurt. I hope your injury occurred at the end of your trip and was back to normal in a short amount of time.

I have not been evacuated but we were stuck in a Doom buggy for about twenty minutes. We were on an incline and I think it was just past the dining room scene. We really could not see anything since we were in between scenes but the music was playing over and over and I was with my young son who was very timid and scared to go on the ride in the first place. He just kept his head down and snuggled up to me, shaking the whole time. Needless to say, it was not his favorite ride of our trip.

We've been evacuated on both People Mover and Thunder Mountain this past winter. On Peoplemover we were stopped quite awhile before being walked out. On Thunder, there was a group of teenagers a couple rows in front and one of them decided to stand up and raise their arms when we were on the incline at the start of the ride. They had to stop the ride and were going to be unable to restart or move us back down the hill, so we had to very carefully climb over (and I could barely reach where we were supposed to step) Not fun. The person that did it wouldn't admit to it, but the CM said they knew hew did it and they would be spoken to. I hop they learned their lesson, because it put a damper on our evening...

We’re local and decided to go on a whim on our way home from a DCL Cruise

I've been stuck in Small World and Pirates for around thirty minutes each before, but no evacuation. Fun fact: thirty minutes of Yo Ho, Yo Ho! is equally as annoying as thirty minutes of It's a Small World.

The only ride i've been evacuated off of was Roger Rabbit. It was many years ago. At first, we thought it was kind of cool to get to walk through the ride but the CMs were obviously upset. It turned out that there was indeed a bad accident.

I recently got evacuated off the People Mover. It wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't freezing and I was sick. We were stuck outside and it created a wind tunnel effect that made it a lot colder. It was annoying that they got the people stuck inside Space Mountain first instead of the people freezing outside. Did get a fast pass for it though. It was interesting since the middle between the tracks is apparently fake and if you step on it you'd go straight through. They kept warning us not to step on it and only step where they were.

It was pretty awesome. First ever ride evac — and a cool one. I did get “yelled at” for taking pictures behind the scenes. :-)

Hah! Well, evacs are full of compromises; if you don't want me taking pictures, don't have the ride break!

Aside from IASW, where I spent a lifetime listening to that awful song, the only other ride I've been evacuated from is Ellen's. It was the last time I ever had the chance to ride it and it stopped right where the pterodacyl is 'flying' at you. I found it interesting, but I would have preferred my last trip past the dinosaurs to not have been walking by them in the fully lighted room.

I've been evacuated off the People Mover.
I was on the outside part and I don't care for heights so walking along the ledge which was made for people to be seated not walking along was not fun. At least they have the silver open railing. I was so relieved when we went in the backdoor of the gift shop and started down those stairs!
We were given an anytime FP that you could not use on SDMT or PP. I used mine on BTMRR. Love that ride.

My DH would be trying to drown himself he hates IASW but goes on it once a trip with me bc I love it, he humors me by calling out the countries the dolls are from..lol

We were evacuated off of TSMM once. It was pretty funny as CM's helped everyone get out of the cars and made us stand single-file against a wall until they had the "proper safety equipment" to help us leave the building. We waited for about 20 minutes with just CM's watching us, making sure that no one took pictures and trying to have some fun with a disney trivia game. Finally, a CM arrived with the "proper safety equipment"... a plastic step stool for everyone to use to step over the about 10 inch high track. It was a pretty funny experience!

That’s funny!
We got stuck on Splash Mountain. Sat in our log for about ten minutes when a CM came by with some handheld device. He would look at the device and at the logs. He stopped at the log just in front of ours, consulted his device, and then kicked the log. All the logs started moving again.
We still laugh about the “high tech” kick that fixed the ride. :rotfl2:

We got stuck on splash mountain many year ago. We could see the big drop and my niece was crying. We didn't move for a half hour. She was not happy!!

The song the little animals were singing is also equally annoying as its a small world!!! We still laugh about it today.

Lol, this made me laugh. That is one ride where the CMs would certainly be well rehearsed in evacs...

We got stuck on Small World once - but only for about 5-10 minutes so no evacuation. We were, however, in the last room where all the dolls are singing in their languages. My dad is not the biggest fan of the ride, but he was humoring my sister and me (I'm not sure where Mom was...it could have been the time we went at Thanksgiving with a family friend so they may have been shopping for something for the friend's grandchildren). A couple of minutes before we started moving, Daddy was like "If we don't start moving soon, I'm getting out and walking regardless."

Thankfully we started moving before he abandoned ship.

Here are a few pictures from the evacuation. I took a video of the actual evacuation but it's quite long (and pretty poorly filmed).
