We were evacuated off of TSMM once. It was pretty funny as CM's helped everyone get out of the cars and made us stand single-file against a wall until they had the "proper safety equipment" to help us leave the building. We waited for about 20 minutes with just CM's watching us, making sure that no one took pictures and trying to have some fun with a disney trivia game. Finally, a CM arrived with the "proper safety equipment"... a plastic step stool for everyone to use to step over the about 10 inch high track. It was a pretty funny experience!

Ha, the plastic step stool! We got evaced off the Pooh ride during the Marceline To MK tour. We we were not stranded for long at all, but the CMs insisted that everyone remain in their vehicles until they opened the door and place the little plastic step stool near it. I know it's protocol and they do a really good job keeping people safe. It was also cool because we had the tour headphones on and our CM tourguide was able to narrate what was happening with the evac.

Anyone happen to know how you would be evacuated off Peter Pan? We stopped for just a minute tonight but I noticed there were barely any spots where there were stairs/railing next to the pirate ships

Just miss out getting stuck on Big Thunder RR. Seated in the car at station when it broke. Spent sometime stuck in Splash Mtn 10 minutes of Zip a dee doo dah and dancing chickens.

Ive been evacuated from splash and big thunder mountain. Splash was about 30 minutes before we were walked out...song playing the whole time...it was painful! Big thunder we were right before coming into the end so it was a pretty quick escape. Got FP for both. We are got stopped on haunted mansion our last trip for about 15-20 minutes with the music playing. My scared 9 year old wasn’t pleased at all! Not sure I’ll get her back on it!

I recently got evacuated off the People Mover. It wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't freezing and I was sick. We were stuck outside and it created a wind tunnel effect that made it a lot colder. It was annoying that they got the people stuck inside Space Mountain first instead of the people freezing outside. Did get a fast pass for it though. It was interesting since the middle between the tracks is apparently fake and if you step on it you'd go straight through. They kept warning us not to step on it and only step where they were.

Wow, I wonder what the problem with that ride is nowadays. It seems to have been constantly getting stuck for at least the past year and a half. You'd think they could've resolved that by now. Sorry that it was rough

Last time we were on Splash we were stopped twice, once just before going up a hill. I forget where the other part was but it was annoying that it kept getting stuck. Still got through the ride though

When the ride broke down for us, we were right at the last scene before the mermaids. (This was in Disneyland) they pulled\pushed the boats and gravity kind of propelled us down the track. It was a very very rough ride and my friend was with her disabled son who has little to no control of his head and neck and he was flopping around. I was worried for him!

We also got stuck going up the big hill to the last drop of Splash mountain, it was unnerving. It kept starting and stopping and it felt like we were going to go crashing backwards. I was nervous but trying to Play it cool for my daughter who was seriously freaking out.

I think one of the ride containers got stuck. They stopped us for a bit and started up again and I noticed one wasn't moving when we were. Then they shut it down and had us get off. Probably would have been bad to slam into a non-moving vehicle

OP, you are so lucky. I haven't ever been evacuated off a ride yet, however I've gotten stuck on Haunted Mansion a few times, only for a few minutes though. Same thing with Spaceship Earth. I was all the way at the top and the view was great. I was hoping for an evac, but nope.

OP, you are so lucky. I haven't ever been evacuated off a ride yet, however I've gotten stuck on Haunted Mansion a few times, only for a few minutes though. Same thing with Spaceship Earth. I was all the way at the top and the view was great. I was hoping for an evac, but nope.

Both of those rides have to stop to load and unload people with physical special needs - it's likely that's what you experienced.

I did get scolded for taking pictures. Twice.

I do feel for the CMs, it's bad enough they have to get into the water and push the boats around. Add to that everyone was taking pictures of them. That said, evacuations don't happen everyday and I wanted some memento pictures. I wish the video I took was better... After being told twice to stop taking pictures, I was keeping it on the down-low... and it ended up being pretty dreadful.

I guess I don't understand. If you are requested not to take pictures why do you continue to take pictures and why do you have to be asked a second time and you still don't comply. I could get on a long winded rant about selfish people but this is not the forum. But this appears to be pretty selfish to me.
