They finally turned off the song. Poor CMs are in gaiters and pushing boats. And everyone is taking their pictures. Poor CMs.

They did promise FPs over the loudspeakers. The currency of when things go wrong!

Only thing at Disney we were stuck on for an extended amount of time was the monorail - now that evacuation would not have been as fun.

I am glad that you are able to enjoy it! We got stuck on Figment and then had to walk through it, which would have been super cool, but it was right before lunch and my kids were HANGRY after sitting for 10 minutes.

I find ride evacs weirdly fascinating. Only ride I’ve ever been walked off is spaceship earth, which taught me how ridiculously steep the incline through the ride is

I did my CP program there and evac that ride is a pain. The incline is so stee that getting guests out of the cats can be difficult. Plus it’s a long walk down so trying to keep people moving and together is a challenging. But I agree getting to see behind the scenes stuff is always cool

I’m an able bodied young guy and honestly that incline was daunting for me, so I can only imagine what it must be like for less able guests. Unfortunately we were in the first show scene so we didn’t see too much behind the scenes stuff, but interesting nonetheless

For guests not as able bodied we had to call reedy creek as they could safely get the guests off. We closely monitor who would need to be evac by them and which cars they are in. I know the ride got a face lift a few years ago
But the track system is really due for an upgrade

I would be one of those unfortunate people. I can barely walk by the ride now for fear of hearing that song.

I've had a ride evac before. But was stuck on DL's Pirates for a really long time last trip. And the music just kept playing, over and over and over again. I now know the dog's part to the song by heart. Stuck right by the dog. ruff ruff.

We were evac off Expedition Everest at night during one of the DVC parties. It was very cool. Getting out of the cars and on to the stairs was a little daunting for some.

Cool! I've never been evacuated yet, but I think it sounds kind of fun...well, as long as it's not treacherous.
POTC was acting up when we were on it last. It was like a long line of bumper boats, LOL, and we were stuck for a little while.

There was a therapy dog in the boat ahead of us. A big ol' Newfoundland! I've thought about him a lot since the trip, wondering how he liked the ride, especially the little drop in the dark. What a good dog!
