I'm ready to go but we don't leave for another 113 days. Come on February 27th!
This will be my first "Pre-Trip" report, so bear with me. I have to express my excitement somewhere especially since I can't tell our girls.
So who are we...I am Sarah, the Disney Planner. I planned out our trip last May and the only thing I didn't plan for was all the rain. This time I am planning for no rain and sunny skies. I do NOT want to see a poncho for the rest of my life. My dh is Chris, he is excited that this vacation will be just our family. He wanted to wait a little longer to go back, but I told him I can't wait anymore. Let's just say we didn't have that wonderful of a vacation in May and I am declaring a "Re-do".
And our girls...we have two beautiful girls that are 15 months apart. They are 3 and 4. We want to surprise them so we can see their excitement when we drive under the sign.
So now the pre-trip ideas / reservations / plans / ect...
When - leave on 2/27, arrive at WDW on 2/28, leave on 3/5, and arrive home on 3/6
Where - Staying in a condo at Windsor Palms.
Why - It's a "Re-match with Mother Nature"
We plan on leaving in the morning on the 27th and get passed Atlanta, spend the night and hopefully arrive around 2-3pm on the 28th. Since the tickets are the same price for a 5 and 6 day, we are going to do the 6 day. That way if we do get there earlier we can hang out at MK (although there are EMH that evening). Regardless of what we do we have dinner reservations at Chef Mickey's. What a better way to start our vacation! I have never done this meal and have always heard good things about it. I can't wait.
On that Monday we have early reservations at Crystal Palace. That is my "must do". I think it's the best way to start your first full day at the parks! And then just go with the flow for the rest of the day.
Tuesday we would like to go to Disney Studios. Our oldest was sick the day that we went there in May and our little one constantly reminds her of that. I may have two girls but they are Cars fans. So it's a must do to get over there and see Lightning McQueen in person! I can't wait for The Little Mermaid show and I would like to see the stunt show. And then again just go with the flow.
Wednesday we will go back to MK. There are a few rides that I want to do that we never got to last time.
1. Tiki Hut show
2. Jungle Cruise
3. Aladdin's carpet ride
4. Country Bear Jamboree
5. Mad Tea Party (I'll just watch, I can't do all that spinning)
6. Snow White's Scary Adventure
Thursday we will go Epcot and have lunch at Akershus. My husband insisted that we do this again. It was a great opportunity to see all the princesses in one spot. I want to see Crush again as it was one of my favorites. There are a few other shows / rides that I think the girls will have more fun, especially with the Kid stops.
Friday, our last day
That's ok though, before we leave we want to go back to MK and do whatever, eat lunch, and then say good bye. Leave the park around 2 or 3 and hit the road.
That's it so far. Now can I pack???
