Had a great time at Disney! The weather was almost picture perfect except alittle too cool in the evenings for swims. The MNSSHP was fantastic!!! Can't wait to do that again!!!! I have tonnes of pictures ( I believe I took 389 pictures). The sad part is that I have 1100 available on my digital card and didn't use it up. :rotfl:

Rob (Snowwhite's DH) I really need to get my own handle on here I think....

Welcome home!

I was just coming on to ask if anyone has heard from you guys yet.

When do we get to see the pictures.?

Can't wait to hear about everything.

Welcome home ! Glad to hear your trip was fabulous. We too LOVED MNSSHP this year and would definitely consider doing that again in future. Sadly, it's back to reality now ! I've been home 1 1/2 weeks and it feels like vacation was a long time ago  Post some pics when you get a chance.

I was thinking about you guys today wondering when you were coming back.
So tell us all about the trip.
How was staying at POP and OKW?
How was the beach component of the holiday?
And how did the kids enjoy MNNSHP?

Glad to hear you had a great time.

We were very disappointed with the Princess StoryBook Breakfast in Norway. Our seating was for 10:35 am and when we got there right away Jessica got her picture with Princess Aurora as she was the main princess at the door. During the breakfast Princess Jasmine and Belle stopped by quickly. There were other princesses there as well but we did not see them as they left the restaurant before we were done breakfast and went to other locations in the park. ( Mulan and Snowwhite) There was no notice that the ladies were leaving and our server (peasant) was very apologetic about not getting to visit with the princesses. Of course we don't blame him, he was a great server and very funny. On the flipside, Chef Mickey's was a blast!!! The characters came around at least three times while we were there and we got some really good pics with the kids. Also a great time was had at Crystal Palace and again the character interaction was amazing. We also ate at Whispering Canyon and the food was good and our server was very nice. The restaurant was fairly empty so there wasn't alot of hilarious stuff going on but a good time was had and we will go back there again at a busier time. Beaches and Cream was a nice restaurant as well and the No Way Jose was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! No one had a kitchen sink when we were there but I got a pic of a fake one. We also ate at the Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney and that was nice as well. Jessica did the Wonderland Tea Party and she still raves about it and REALLY enjoyed that experience. Definately the MNSSHP was great! Jessica loved that all the cast members kept bowing to her and calling her your Highness as she was dressed as Cinderella. She certainly got the royal treatment. Pictures of these events will be posted shortly. The Pop Century was a nice hotel. Nice pool, good choices at the food court, very nice and family friendly environment. The only complaint is that I agree with a previous poster that the beds are alittle uncomfortable. OKW was a nice place, but I wouldn't stay there again. I hate having to drive to the pool and from our studio we had to drive to the main pool. Even the quiet pool near to our room was a bit of a walk. The room was quite nice, and very comfortable beds. I have the same complaint about the CSR. Very nice room (best out of all three places) but it was a LONG way to get to the main pool and again I hate having to drive to the pool. For convenience i would say the POP was the best as you could walk to the pool in less than two minutes from our room and it was the farthest away from the 80's pool in the 80's area. Also it was a couple minutes away from the foodcourt area and gift shop. CSR was nice but very inconvenient for shopping, eating and pool use as you had to drive to them, and OKW pretty much same thing. We used the extra magic hours at MK and Epcot and this was a great thing!!!!! Almost all rides were walk ons. Snowwhite and DD went on Big Thunder mountain and space mountain numerous times just walking on. Test Track was pretty easy to get on as well. We saw Wishes and Illuminations and both were amazing. We also ate around the world at Epcot and very much enjoyed the food. DW and DD were disappointed with Soarin at Epcot only because we were on a similar ride in Niagara Falls and it was alittle more active. My favourite rides were Splash Mountain and TOT. I liked the Stunt show as well. Overall a great time was had and I can't wait to return and do it all over again. I am already suffering Disney withdrawl.

Great report ! I stayed at POP in August and I thought the beds were great! However, our bed at OKW this last trip was awful ... way too hard for my liking. DH thought it was great, I on the other hand did not sleep through the night the entire 8 nights we were there. Woke up several times. I've never had this happen before at a hotel. We were really close to the main pool at OKW so we could walk it in about 3 minutes. Everywhere else was so far away ... even worse than when we stayed at CBR and had to drive to the food court to refill our mugs

How was the beach ??? I'd love to do something like this on one of our trips but the park-a-holic in me just doesn't allow me to book something like that! :rotfl2:

St. George's Island was nice and quiet. The beach house was quite large and the pool was heated so Snowwhite was in heaven. The first day we went for a long walk on the beach (about 4 mi) and DD collected a pile of shells. It was a nice way to wind down from the fast pace at the parks. we just hung around the pool and relaxed. We did MK three times, MGM twice, and Epcot twice during our stay in Disney and my feet were killing me and I had no less than 7 blisters on them. So the days in St. George's were great for me! I did forget to mention that that I77/79/95 route as much as it may be quicker to orlando, Snowwhite and myself were not feeling great after driving it. It could have been partially due to driving straight through, but both of us felt ill especially going through the mountains at night. We came back I75 straight through and no problems. It may have been different had we gone that way in the daytime.

ps. I am flying next time I think.

I'll agreee on the being far from the pool thing...we hate to have to drive to get to it..or wait for an internal bus, or walk for 10 minutes..(I know, I know, I'll walk all over the parks;)...)

That's one of the reasons we bought BCV from DVC - although we LOVE OKW for the atmosphere, and room size, BCV has the hotel amenities that we prefer.

So when are you booking the next trip??! LOL!

Welcome back Snowwhite family
I hope you had a great time. We leave in just under two months. I hope to have good weather also. What park was the most fun?

:confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Very hard question to answer!!! Well I guess the best park has to be THE park...Magic Kingdom!!! We have also realized that we love it that much more at night. BTMRR is SOOOOOO much more fun at night as is the whole park!! Although we love all the parks, MK is just the heart of Disney, thats why we went back this time 4 times!!!! Can't do Space Mountain enough!!!!! I am so jealous of you and hockeymom and canadave that have trips coming up soon....we have been home for 4 days now but already I really want to go back....like now....right now.....actually 5 minutes ago.....don't think I would have to twist DH's arm to hard.....or at all!!!!!! :teeth:
