Well we are home! I cant believe it! Time sure does fly when you are having fun!
We drove out to Ca. from texas and saw the grand canyon on the way, and meteor crater on the way home. I really like this drive the scenery is incredible!
We had a great trip to disney! It was crowded, but what do you expect in June! We have gotten SO spoiled to going in October!!!
It was our first time back in ten years, so things had really changed! I loved the DTD area and I really liked DCA!!! I cant believe some people dont! To me it is alot like MGM at WDW!! We loved soarin"!!!!! TOT was fun, but I like WDW's better.
Indy was a fun ride too!
We saw the 2nd showing of fantasmic, and it was so good! I was expecting trying to find a seat to be a nightmare, but it really was not bad at all. We got there right when the first one let out, waited for everyone to clear out and got a spot front and center!!
We ate at goofys kitchen and it was fantastic!! One of the best character meals I have been to! Goofy, pluto, donald, capt hook, rafiki, and mulan were all there!! The buffet was huge!!
We also ate at blue bayou, loved the place, I had the crab cakes, they were just ok. DH had the monte cristo, it was better!
One fun thing that happened was we sat and colored with chalk on tom sawyers island with Huck Finn!!! It was so great! We loved talking to him! My kids didnt know who he was really, but it was so neat! Stuff like that is what makes disney special!
We also went to newport beach and balboa one day it was the coldest day they had had in a while and cloudy all day. I dont think it got out of the lower 60;s all day! We texans were freezing!
We went to laguna beach the next day, and it is still my favorite! It is just so beautiful! The cliffs and rocks! Beautiful little town!!
I think that about covers it. I would love to answer any questions. My tip to anyone going soon, go straight to splash in the am, that was the one ride that seemed to run out of FP the soonest and the line was always between an hour and a half to 2 hours !!
