I am so sorry that you were hurt by someone's unkind words. If that person is reading this thread -- all that I can say is that your impression of Shirley is so untrue. I have sailed on DCL 3 times and have personally chose not to use the service that Shirleys company offers. It is just not an expense that I feel is necessary to make my cruise complete. I chose instead to use the money that I would have spent on stateroom gifts in the gift shops on board the ship and on the islands -- my personal choice. With that said -- when we cruised this past April I noted on my thread that I would be staying the day before at the Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach. I received a person message from Shirley telling me that if I should need anything during my stay in CB that I should be sure to call upon her -- and she would love for me to stop by the shop so she could meet me -- since she has seen me posting for so long on the boards. This was after we had already left for our trip to FL -- I read her PM once I reached the internet service at the Hamptpon. Unfortunately we had a very busy day before and did not have a chance to stop by the shop. But it was very comforting to know that we would have had someone to count on if we were to have any problems so far from home.
