We are back (DLH)

We are back from the Resort. We have been there from Sunday-Wednesday and we had a great time. The resort was not as crowded as we would have expected it. Even on Sunday the waiting times were not that bad.

We loved ToT and Stitch. These are 2 great new attractions. The ToT is now one of my top 3 attractions.

We have stayed at the DLH and had a room in the eastwing with view to the Saloon Mickey.

We had a very great trip and there were only 2-3 little points that keept us wondering. (Why are there so many doves now in the Disneyland Park?, Why is NO ONE using the smoking areas? Why is the gardening and refurbishments now done during the day?)

I will write a trip report and show you some of my pictures soon.

By the way: During the 4 days in the parks we had not one "queue jumping" experience.

Welcome back Marcus, we were there Monday to Wednesday (not at the DLH though ).

Despite the loads of school groups I saw in the parks on all 3 days we were there, I have to agree, the lines were very manageable (and sometimes there were characters about, including Mickey, just waiting for someone to come and play with them ).

I was there Saturday through Monday and also had no problems with line jumpers. From reading this forum, I expected it would be chaos in the lines. It wasn't.

I can't belive how much you remembered. I am very impressed.

But I didn't kept this a secret. It was on the sticky since mid May.
I don't have a good feeling if I have a countdown or something similar too far in advance.

I requested a room in the upper flors and we got this room on the third floor in the east wing. (The realy should start to cut some trees and plants. Over the years many lovely views have been gone in all hotels because of the higher trees.)
