We are at the Kona Sushi Bar.....

and you're not.

This was John's idea.

But I went along with it.

oh I wish I played with my phone earlier,we were walking through the poly around the time you posted this. We played hookie from work and went to MK.

Omg lol listen FRANCES!!

;) I don't mind "Frances"---- if one uses on a check, prize pick, winning a trip to anywhere fun, gifts...

Most people call me by my nickname (not typing it here), or in some cases, NC Belle/Belle if they want my attention faster.

I'm not sure that my nieces know my formal name. :rotfl:

I just happen to know that the drink menus HAVE changed.

I dont drink but I did love the Strawberry Basil Lemonade w/Vodka at the Ohana bar.

They no longer have it as the menu has changed.

I might have missed chat....but I went and saw the Princess and the Frog and had dinner at the Polynesian.

I win.

Thanks Kevin for the answer. In chat, there was some names discussion going on and I had fun with Nikki.

We meant to go see Princess last month with a niece, but we had to change some plans.

NC Beast is making Chicken Marsala this weekend. :cool1:

Yummo!!! One of my favorite places. Maybe one day we will run into you two eating in the world. It would be so exciting!! Enjoy your dinner.

Would love to be there eating some luscious sushi! We will be.....but, not till October. Hope it was fantastic!

What type of Sushi did you end up ordering? Last month I went there two times and the 1st time I had the Shrimp Tempura Roll, then the 2nd time I had the Volcano Roll and both tasted great.

I heard the e-mail segment (NC Belle's...if I said her other name---doghouse city) during my Wii Fit Plus yoga and laughed so hard... I went out of my balance circle.

Princess and the frog and poly???
Damn thats hard to beat....
My turn, I went to school :) (yup, I know. I lose)

Wow..........You have no heart Kevin Klose. Did the Evil Queen cut it out and put it in her box?

Oh wait, you said posting was John's idea. Nevermind, you are good. :teeth:

Kevin and John, I just want to thank the two of you for always talking about this place. Just about two weeks ago when I was down, I was supposed to have a dinner at Cali Grill, only I made the reservation for the wrong day. When asked "what do we do now?", I had the perfect answer, and we had a great meal!

I'm really glad to hear this.

Besides offering great food....there is never a wait, which makes it a great place for a spontaneous dinner.

Love the fact that you dont need an ADR.

Something to keep in mind is that they offer the full Kona Cafe menu at the Kona Sushi Bar. This is terrific if there are non-sushi eaters in your party.

Yes they do. I did try the sushi at the Kona Bar it was good. I noticed two ladies next to me ordered what was on the Kona Cafe Menu. I regret not ordering the delicious pot stickers. Only problem they ordered two very large meals and there was barely enough room on the bar.

That's okay. I will be there on Sunday. Yippee.:cool1::cool1:

Oh yes... or if you like to have some sushi as an appetizer before your meal from Kona Cafe ;)

We always mix the two menus. Usually a couple rolls with an order of the Kona wings and the 3 of us share. Yummo.

That is what I love about the podcast. We would have never tried this place if you didnt review it Kevin.
