After 11 wonderful years of marriage my husband and I have made the decision to adopt. I haven't been around much lately because we have been concentrating on paperwork and preparing for our Homestudy. Our first home study visit is on Wednesday. We are adopting a child from South Korea. Just wanted to share!!!!!

Congrats. My youngest is adopted.She belonged to my sister in law who was neglecting her so when DSS stepped in we took her and adopted her at 3 months old.She will be 4 this month and we can't even imagine life without her

What wonderful news. My cousins son and daughter are both from South Korea and they worked with the Holt Agency in Trenton, NJ. She kept their given Korean birth names as their middle names. The social worker in Korea picked out their names. I think one means something like peaceful spirit etc.Best of luck to you.
