We are adopting!!

After 11 wonderful years of marriage my husband and I have made the decision to adopt. I haven't been around much lately because we have been concentrating on paperwork and preparing for our Homestudy. Our first home study visit is on Wednesday. We are adopting a child from South Korea. Just wanted to share!!!!!

Congratulations!! My former boss adopted two children from Korea through Holt. One of the foster families actually sent a photo album of the time period that they had her. It was wonderful that she has pictures of her prior to her coming home.

That is awesome. Congrats. I just met my new neice this weekend. My brother and sister in law brought her home a month ago from Guatamala; she is 6 months old. She is beautiful and so full of energy. He big sister, who will be 5 in Oct. is also from Guatamala.

Congratulations!!! Even though my adoption proceeding was horribly long, my daughters have been home for 3 months now and I wouldn't hesitate to do it all over again.
