And there's only one other place at WDW that I can think of with the tent-look, and Primeval Whirl already went.

Woohoo for 99 days! I'm down to 5 months and 1 day, haha. Still a while to go. When I mentioned to my 6th graders that I was planning for my February trip (I was using one of the vocabulary words and giving them a sample sentence as I talked about it ... haha, just so you know I wasn't just randomly talking about Disney when I was supposed to be teaching ). One student said, "February is a long time from now." And I said, "Not really; it's not that long." And then I realized that in Disney vacation time, it's not that long. I mean, having 5 months and 1 day (or 99 days!) is way better than not having a trip planned at all. But then in SCHOOL time, it's forever and a day! Haha.

Thankfully, I've learned to live in both worlds!

I am so excited about being in the double digits! You're exactly right, in Disney vacation time 5 months isn't long at all. When I think about being 5 months away from a Disney vacation I think, "It's so close!" but when I think of 5 months from now in terms of school it does seem like an eternity!

That was a fun week of the waiting game, seeing everyone's guesses and finally figuring it out! I would have never guessed Primeval Whirl or Triceratop Spin since I've never even been over to that section of AK except once to walk through to get to Dinosaur! The stars threw me off too, I couldn't imagine anywhere in WDW that had stars like that!

And congratulations on double digits!!!

Hi everyone! Happy FRIDAY! I'm getting ready to head to work so I have to keep this short, but I just wanted to say I am so sorry that I have been absent from the boards all week. John left on Monday and since then I have been super busy with work. Plus, my allergies are giving me a really hard time so I haven't been feeling too well. But fear not, my wonderful DISfamily, because it is Friday and I am planning on spending a major portion of my weekend on the boards catching up on PTRs and TRs and updating my PTR! Please bear with me until I get past this hump and I promise I will be my usual DISboard obsessed self! Thanks everyone!

Aww, it's sad that John left on Monday, but it is a good thing that you've been busy. But now that the weekend is coming up, it really is the perfect time to spend with all of us

Allergies are a stinker. I was so congested yesterday and in such a haze that I had to take a nap. I don't like doing that because it throws off my sleeping schedule at night, but there was no way I could stay up.

for the weekend! Fridays aren't fun because I don't have a prep period ... 5 periods, then lunch during 6th (later than normal since my schedule had to accommodate the 5th pd class), and then 2 more periods. THEN I have to stay after school because I do after care on Fridays! Maybe I'll get some grading some just so that I can come home and DIS!
