Someone needs yahoo messenger

Someone needs yahoo messenger![]()

Is that what you use? I need to set one up! Heather helped me set up a gmail account so I can chat with her on there and I love it! Anytime I can be talking to my Dis friends I am a happy camper!![]()
yep sure is! I stay logged in via my Blackberry.
Awesome! I will set up a Yahoo account too, then!![]()

I use Aim, Yahoo, and Gmail if you want any of my screen names![]()
So that's exactly what I did. I thought and I thought and then I thought a little more. I literally lay in the bed staring at the ceiling for hours trying to think of a new title. And finally, it hit me!
It's kind of turned into our private joke because it just makes us sound even more southern. And it's really funny because I'm a high school English teacher and if I caught any of my students saying that I would have a cow. Gotta love those double standards!

Like how you kept the South part in and added your own little saying in there as well! I totally understand wanting your PTR title to be a good one, I agonized over mine for days too, before I decided on the one I have!
We always seem to run into a lot of people from MA when we are in Disney!
You have more than 1 PTR? I am so confused lol

Yay, love the new title!Like how you kept the South part in and added your own little saying in there as well! I totally understand wanting your PTR title to be a good one, I agonized over mine for days too, before I decided on the one I have!
People ask my DH and I where we are from all the time, and most of the time they think we are from Boston because my DH is always wearing Red Sox hats. Which turns into a discussion about the Red Sox, and then he has to explain that yes, he is from Boston, but he moved to CT when he was in middle school, and that I've always lived in CT, blah blah blah. I just tune him out when he starts telling people that story, he can't just admit that he lives in CT now, he's so proud of being from Boston! We always seem to run into a lot of people from MA when we are in Disney!

My family from PA always says, "Yins talk funny!" I think that's like a western PA/Pittsburgh thing, but it cracks me up. I'm always like, "Really? We talk funny? I'm pretty sure ya'll just called us yins!"
Sorry the North can't make it, but the new title is good! That's awesome that you run into a lot of people from MA at Disney! We hardly ever meet anyone from NC. Or from the south at all, because everyone is always fascinated by our accents. My family from PA always says, "Yins talk funny!" At least ya'll makes sense!Caught back up!Sorry the North can't make it, but the new title is good!
How is your new DD doing? I can't wait to see pictures!Hi everyone! My name is Stacy and I'm Joni's sister. She talked me into joining the boards because I am a Disney fanatic too! I've only been twice but I would go all the time if I could.
I'm excited about meeting new people who understand the love and who would never roll their eyes when I tried to talk about it.
Joni, your report is very entertaining so far! Too bad about Josh and Wendy, but you and John will have a great time. Reading all this reminds me of fun times when we went to Disney for spring break (and we DID to Turtle Talk with Crush on that trip, Dorkus!)
Can't wait until we finish mapping our your dining reservations with the help of my super organized list tomorrow. So exciting!
Actually, it's yinz, which is even worse. At least ya'll makes sense!
I'm so excited you finally joined!! This is my awesome big sister, everybody!
You are featured earlier in my PTR, did you see?

Everytime DH and I travel (I'm not kidding you, I mean literally every single time) people ask us where we're from. We have pretty noticeable southern accents, and I guess they make us stick out like a couple of sore thumbs. So one of us always responds with, "we ain't from around here!" It's kind of turned into our private joke because it just makes us sound even more southern. And it's really funny because I'm a high school English teacher and if I caught any of my students saying that I would have a cow. Gotta love those double standards!
Today is a very special day too, because it is my two year wedding anniversary! I promised Rachel (RachelNinja) that I would post some pictures from my wedding, and I thought that today would be an appropriate day to do that!

I love the new title and the explanation! I always use words that I tell my students not to use. I hate when they begin sentences with "So", but I find myself doing that from time to time. I justify it because I am not writing a formal paper and they are! =)
I'm glad I'm not the only one out there who does that! You're exactly right- there's a huge difference between a formal paper and conversational spoken language. That's my argument and I'm sticking to it!
You know this already, but I love the wedding pics!!!! Happy anniversary Joni!!!! Here is to many more wonderful years to come!
