Hi everyone! I wanted to do a quick update before I head to bed! This isn't Disney related, but I wanted to fill everyone in on what's been going on!
As you all know, I am a high school English teacher.
I just graduated from college in December 2009, and since graduation I haven't been able to get a permanent job. I have done a bunch of subbing for other English teachers so I was still getting to teach, but I haven't had a place to really call my own. Well, all that changed this week because I got a permanent teaching job!
I'm so happy that I will finally have my own classroom and be able to teach my kids for the entire year, rather than just popping in a for a week or two at a time. I will be teaching 9th and 10th grade English, and I couldn't be more excited!
This is also great news because now we have two full time incomes, which means I don't have to stress about affording our trip anymore! Hopefully it also means more Disney trips and possibly a DVC membership in our future, but we'll have to wait and see!
I'm already thinking about a trip next summer...hmmm...
In other news, John and I are moving out of our one bedroom apartment in a few weeks and into a two bedroom! Now I know what you're thinking, and the answer is NO we are not planning to have children soon.
We just want some more space! We are going to turn the extra bedroom into a guest bedroom/office. I am also thinking about decorating it in a Disney theme! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
That's about it for now. I just wanted to share all of my good news with everyone. I will be back tomorrow (well, today I guess since it's after midnight for me) to post the next round of The Waiting Game and I promise I will do a trip related update very soon! Good luck with Round 3 tomorrow everyone!
Here's a picture of my adorable sleepy babies to help me say goodnight!

I am feeling so much better! My mouth is almost completely healed from the wisdom teeth, thank goodness! I finally started chewing a few days ago. Now I'm just dealing with some canker sores from the irritation/lack of proper nutrition when I couldn't eat anything. I am one of those people who gets canker sores constantly. I hate them!
Yay, congratulations on the job!
I put some orajel stuff on my canker sores, but it only helps for a little bit. Only time really helps them, and it usually takes a while.
When my parents were out of town last month and part of this month, my dog took over a pile of blankets on the floor in my room because my bedroom was the only air conditioned part of the house at the time
Take your time!

We have 23 more Saturdays until I leave for my trip, so that's 23 more chances for someone to win this! We've got a long way to go, so even if you haven't gotten one yet please don't give up!
