What is the current price offered and any incentive for a 50 point add-on at SSR?

I got the postcard about the price increase and saw that there was a deal for 100 points or more, but not sure about just 50.

The incentives started for the 100 pt purchase. We decided we only really needed 50.

As I go through these threads, I have been trying to understand and get a feel for why people are buying add ons @ premium prices.
My initial thought was that possibly my BC would not have availability for other DVC location add ons when I wanted them.
But..... I have added days in March for my May vacation with no problem.
I'm probably missing something
, but, my thoughts tend to say (to me) ....buy an OKW resale, get more pts. for the buck, pay less mtc. fee and still be able to hook it on to my existing BC pts. for visits.

Your thoughts??

I will say that for us it is easier to finance through Disney, so we buy through Disney. Yes I know you read about all these deals on the boards with low interest and all but we do not want to tie up our equity in our house or do a home equity line for this purchase. This is the only reason we didn't do a resale.
