We decided to book a late summer trip to Disney, we're well past 180 days so it's slim pickings. That's not so bad, we're fine doing some counter service meals. My son is hugely into seeing characters now so I focused on getting some of those in.

Any recent experiences for breakfast at 1900 Park Faire, 'Ohana and Tusker House?

Also, any ideas for someplace reasonable in Disney Springs? We've gone to WPE the last few times and would like to try someplace new. My mother doesn't care for Earl of Sandwich so that's out.

The tricky one for me is DHS, Sci Fi and Prime Time are both booked, we've had zero luck at their counter service locations, anything decent there these days???

Thanks!

For DHS, my daughter and I had good meals at Mama Melrose’s and Backlot Express when we were there the end of April. The Kylo Ren cupcake at BE was so good we stopped back another day just for another cupcake.

Use Touring Plans' free reservation finder tool to get unavailable ADRs. It's effective.

Have you set up a reservation finder through touring plans? That Might help you with DHS. Also, Andy’s lunch box will be a new counter service there. They have a more diverse menu.

We did 1900 park fare breakfast and loved it last August. Took my two foster daughters who tended to be bit shy characters and the ones there were great with interactions!

1900 Park Fare, 'Ohana and Tusker House are all really great character meals.

Keep trying on the Sci-Fi and 50's Prime Time, something is bound to come up. Using a reservation finder is a good tip and will increase your chances. Otherwise, Mama Melrose is pretty good there or our plan this upcoming trip is to try the new QS in Toy Story Land, so you may want to consider that as well. Good luck!

We love 1900 and Tusker House. I'm not a fan of O'hana, but if you are mainly there to see the characters, they are a lot of fun.

We really enjoyed Blaze Pizza at DS! Good pizza and salad.
