Another way to learn how to learn a manual transmission, just rent a car. Aren't they there for us to beat up on???? That's what I plan to do when I finally get a sports car.

I learned how to drive a stick on my dad's 1980 Porsche 928. Not a bad ride to learn how to do that on.....

That said, I haven't owned a vehicle w/a manual transmission in about 10 years.

You're not really driving if you drive an automatic. I've been driving stick for years (except for when I had my Explorer) and wouldn't trade it in for anything. For those of you who have to drive in snow, it gives you total control.

I'm with Sandy....it's the only way to go. Plus, if you only ever drive a stick....that means you'll never have to drive a mini-van!

Sigh...here are yesterday's clues...not that it matters - someone guessed it right this morning...the car is no longer mine. But it's ok - Im onto their much BIGGER and BETTER contest today - Amercian Idol tickets for Tuesday's show!!!

Any final guesses before I tell you where in the world it was?!?

That rolling stone issue is great all around. I must say I never bought one before the Clay issue.
