I can totally relate to you on that front. I have bad anxiety when it comes to something new. Usually I end up loving it but usually I'm too worried about what's going to happen to enjoy it.
Yeah, it's the same with me. I think part of my problem with M:S is that if there are all those warnings about getting sick I'd probably end up making myself sick.
Hey! We're the same age

I loved the Kim Possible adventure too. You're entitled to like everything Disney World has to offer, no matter what age
My favourites at Epcot are:
1. Soarin'
2. Test Track
3. Innoventions
4. Japan Pavilion
5. Illuminations
Nice! I love these boards because there are so many people around my age who love Disney as much as I do.
I like your list of favorites. Illuminations is awesome too. Pretty soon you'll be there!
I'd love to do Test Track and Living with the Land a million times!
I rode Soarin' 3x last time. My brother chickened out the 2nd time when we went back with FP, so I went with both my parents. I can't wait for Weird to try it! He's kind of afraid of heights, so hopefully he'll be okay!
I'm nervous about going on rides the first time too! That's why DHS makes me a little nervous. I don't know it at all and it's a new experience. It's the silliest reason though because I really want to go! I think all the things about people getting sick on M:S or freaking out about the small space really got to me. I do want to try the green side with Weird though, but if I don't ... haha, I'm not going to care.
The two new things I MUST try at Epcot are the Kim Possible mission (so so so excited!) and American Adventure. We somehow never made it all the way there, and I never knew there was a show there!
haha yeah, Test Track is awesome.
I hope Weird loves Soarin!
You should definitely go to DHS. Toy Story Mania is one of the best attractions in WDW. I know you don't want to do RNRC or TOT.

If I did do M:S I'd do the wimp side to see if I could handle it.
The Kim Possible missions are so fun! It's such a neat way to see World Showcase.
Ummm yeah, about Living with the Land being closed last time? It was my brother's fault
Haha...it closed down the day after we did it.
Geez, what did you guys do that caused it to be closed down?!
In 2006, when we were trying all of the rides for the first time, I did Mission Space. I'd been gung-ho for every ride up to that point, but in the queue for M:S I was getting freaked out with all the talk about green vs orange, the warnings and the chances to chicken out.

But if you're going to try the Sum of all Thrills, I'd try Mission Space too. I did the build your own roller coaster in Disney Quest and it made me queasy, so if you can handle that, I'd say you can handle M:S.
I can't remember if in August you guys did that make your own video game thing in Innoventions? We had soooo much fun doing that and you can email the game home and play it whenever you want. Make sure you check that out!
Sadly as a Canadian, I've still not seen the Canada movie but everything else we love about Epcot you've covered. Oh, don't forget to go see Snow White's new wishing well!
Yeah, maybe I should try the Sum of All Thrills thing first.
We did do the video game in August which was cool. Sadly though I never got the email for whatever reason so I couldn't play it.
Oooh, that sounds cool, I will have to add the wishing well to my list!
Hey Sarah! I'm back

I'm obviously not going to be able to catch up on 2 months worth of stuff but I'm joining back in from here on!
Hi Kristen, welcome back!
I went back a few pages, to see what happened with the flight your parents were on. Can you repost it?
Oh, go see Canada's movie. Sit down to the left of the doors when you walk in. If you stand in the middle, it is too hard seeing everything. When you sit there, you see 3/4 of the move, not half/half.
I hope the snow flurries, stay snow flurries the next few days. Everytime they say flurries, we end up with a dumping of snow.
I don't want to ruin anything from my sister's TR (if she ever gets around to posting more!) but basically they were supposed to get home early that Saturday morning, 11:00ish Milwaukee time. I got a call from them around 9 saying they were still at the airport because their flight was delayed. After all the drama they finally got back home around 7:00 pm. Only 8 hours late. Let's just say Emma and I were freaking out about it.
I'll cross my fingers for you that the snow stays away. Have a great time on your trip!
Have you ever gotten motion sickness from anything? If you haven't, I would give MS a try!
The first time I went on it, my friend kept telling me about how intense it was and I didn't really know what to expect. I was pretty nervous and scared while waiting...and then he told me "its the only ride in WDW with barf bags" and how those people died on it when it first open. I almost took the chicken exit, but I've never gotten sick from a ride, so I decided to see it through.
I was so glad I did! It's AMAZING! The feeling is like nothing I've ever experienced.
The thing about MS is there is just no way to know how you will react unless you've been subjected to those kind of G-forces before. So if you could work it in towards the end of the day, I would say to give it a try!
I would avoid it if you're feeling the least bit unwell though. I went on it once when I had a cold and it just made me feel more run-down the rest of the day.
I would try to see the O Canada movie. It's kind of funny with Martin Short, and the views are just gorgeous!
Of course, nothing tops Impressions de France in terms of beautiful views. But the again, I'm kind of partial since I'm a Francophile and and all.
I've never really gotten motion sickness from anything. Though there was one time we went and saw an Imax-type movie at Six Flags (it was really weird, about aliens invading an amusement park...) and after a while we all just left because it was making us all nauseous.

Thanks for the tips!
I know my dad really wants to see the Canada movie so we'll probably do that. We saw the France one in August and it was pretty good.
Honestly, we've done the evening EMH's at Epcot more than once and they don't help at all. It's still busy the entire time, unlike the other parks where when it gets to about the last hour or so of the EMH's, the park is almost empty! We've decided not to do that anymore.
Here's my favorites of Epcot:
Test Track
Soarin'
Nemo
Spaceship Earth
Living with the Land
Innoventions- see if you can find the paper making station!
I was thinking about that paper making station too since you posted that in your TR. That would be so much fun. I'll definitely have to look for it.
