Well i just got back from a trip to WDW and i couldnt help but notice that there were a lot of kids in the College Program down there and from talking to them i found out that they all thought it was the best experience in their lives. This seems like something i am def gonna do... i mean come on 4 months in WDW..how could you resist? So who else is planning on doing the CP?

I don't plan on doing the CP as such, but when the time comes I would love to do an internship with Disney.

I was thinking the other day, that all these people on the TB want to do the CP, and a lot of us will probably end up doing it at the same time! The DIS could take over the CP lol!

lol.....just kidding.....but seriously its not stupid. and everyone ive spoken to whos done it really loved it. many ppl come back afterwards to work in disney some more.
id explain it, but some else should cuz i dont know excactly.....
im not gonna go on the CP, but after the army ill be going to work either in WDW or on the DCL for a couple of years! only 3 years to wait..... (i start my army program in a week...aaaaaaaaah! )

I wanna do it soo badly. You get to spend 4 months in WDW and you are doing it for college. Nothing beats that..lol.

The WDWCP (Walt Disney World College Program) is a program (well obviously!) where you live, work, and learn in Walt Disney World. You live in an apartment with a few other people in the College Program at a place called Vista Way. The place is like a little gated community, and it houses only WDWCP participants.

Not only do you live in Disney World, but you work there too! You work in the parks/hotels and you get paid a (small) salary. The program is for a few months, and you are required to take a few classes. Some colleges give credit for it, depending on the college and what your major is.

I've been looking forward to this since I was 9!!!! I've always wanted to do it, spent countless hours researching it...I'm obsessed lol. You'll see me there in a few years!

keep in mind you have to give up a fall or spring semester to do the cp. After that session, you are allowed to work during the summer.

Most of the workers you see at disney are college program on international program. Some are there for 4 months other are there for 7. IP students are there for a full year. Most of the managment are not college program, but are former college programers themselfs. Its a great job, but the pay is not that good (6.00 an hour) and rent is alot also. (67.00 a week). People say it is the time of their life.

i want to soo bad. Bu i have know ppl that really like it or really hated it! Like one guy that i know never wants to go back there agian for more the a week. but another guy wants to like down there! it all depends on you job and room mates
