So this kind of goes out to anyone that's done the CP before. I know this may sound like kind of a silly question...but I'm curious if anyone has ever heard of someone who applied for the program getting in even after all of the rejection/acceptance letters have gone out and such? Sort of like to fill a spot if someone doesn't show up on their expected arrival date, or doesn't make it through background checks, or whatever. Like I didn't know if maybe they kind of keep anyone who had a pending status but was rejected a spot due simply to limited availability of space in like a file of sorts to kind of call on in an instance that someone neglects their spot for whatever reason. Like I said I know this is a silly question...but I figured it was worth asking. I have my reasons for asking and if you care to know, I'll gladly PM you to let you know haha Thanks for the help guys :)

like airlines, hotels, and other such things... they overbook.

they know a certain people won't accept and those that do accept the offer won't show up. they take all of this into account.

for example, if they only need 100 people to work in custodial, they may offer 150 knowing that 25 probably won't accept it and 25 who do may not show up.

disney keeps data on everything and this is no exception. but even with their data projections and all of that, stuff could be messed up if more people accept than they thought they would. if you've seen anything about them asking people arriving in january to arrive in late february, my guess is that their projections were messed up a bit.

i guess there is always the chance that more people won't show up than they anticipate and they could turn to those who were pended and weren't offered due to openings. I wouldn't rule it out, but it is probably very unlikely since by the time late February rolls around, most of those people are back in school and may have even started applying for fall or fall advantage.

Thank you for the help...even though it's not necessarily the news I want to hear haha but I do appreciate the insight :)
