Does anyone know anyone to verify this?

Taken from another site about Disney:

Interesting, unpublished fact: you can use leftover days on a Walt Disney World Hopper pass at Disneyland or DCA! This is probably because Disney World Hopper passes cost much more per day than Disneyland passes, so Disney is actually coming out way ahead on the deal. Present the WDW Hopper at the gate on arrival -- they will take it somewhere, deduct a day from it, and give you a one-day pass. This information was confirmed as of April 2004.

Barbara: Is there an ex ticket person that is a member of
"the other" pin board you could ask?

I've seen that confirmed by DL CM's over on Laughing Place's boards.

Thanks Barbara!
I saw your post over there...
I was hoping ex ticket gal would
confirm it...

I got this info from someone on
the MousePad boards off MousePlanet
aparently they have tried it...

They aren't CM's or anything special...
since we are only going to WDW for
2 days and don't intend to go back
(atleast not for QUITE a while)
I was just looking into "using" the
remaining days somehow... and that
is what I found out over there...

Funny how one CM might know about
a policy and allow it and another might
not have ever heard about something
and not do it...
Same thing goes for pin trading...
once I was told I could ONLY trade
a Disneyland pin with a DLR CM...
I was also told once since the CM
didn't have it in the store in which
he worked, I couldn't trade it to him...
and many wouldn't take DS pins...

Funny how everyone (CM's) adjust policy
to suit them!

Now, if only they'd take my WDW AP at the DLR gate!

That would be a good deal. :earsgirl:

They should do that!

Like if a DLR AP is say $250 and a WDW one is $350

for like $500 you can have both... yeah! That would
be killer! I'm surprised they don't have something like that
already for us Disney Addicts!

Heather,

I have wondered that so many times! I know quite a few DISpals who have APs for both coasts.

I don't believe there is even any kind of special offer at all if you own one AP and then want a hopper ticket for the other coast.

Seems like a big gap in marketing somewhere.
