My Dream for 2007 was to persuade my mom, dad, and sister to embark on a Disney Family Vacation with my DH and I. I knew that this was going to take more than pixie dust to pull off, but since it is the Year of a Million Dreams I figured why not wish BIG! Persuading them was not as hard as I thought it would be. It was almost too easy! I had truly anticipated on having many more roadblocks then what I encountered.
On March 17, 2007 we booked my Dream Come True!!
Meet the cast
Jenna (Me): I love everything about Disney. I fell in love with the mouse in 2005 and cant bring myself to vacation anywhere but WDW! Luckily for me my DH loves it just as much as I do!!! I am also the obsessive planner in the group!
Aaron (My DH): One word to describe Aaron would be he is a HAM! He also loves hot weather, swimming, eating, and of course DISNEY! He loves all the attention to detail that can be found all over WDW! He is BIG on taking pictures of everything, so you can thank him for photos of this trip!
Jim (My dad): My dad just loves to have fun! He is goofy, not easily embarrassed, and will do anything to put a smile on his families faces. He will do doubt be the clown of the trip and when you get him and my husband together WATCH OUT!! (Hence the title of this trip report being WDW will NEVER be the SAME AGAIN!!!).
Lisa (My mom): My mom loves being with her family. Her idea of a vacation is being with all of us (which some might think is crazy)! She is a little concerned about the heat but other than that is super excited! She is also really excited about relaxing by the pool with a drink!
Holly (My little sister): Holly is a year round college student. She deserves this vacation more than anyone. Holly wants to get up early, stay out late, and take afternoon breaks at the pool for a nap. She wants to do it ALL in the short time we will be there!! She will probably wear us all out!!
Ryan (Hollys BF): Since he is in this picture I thought I would include him. He is not going with us but he does have something to do with our trip! He will be housesitting and watching our little girl our dog, Bella!
Bella (My baby): Since Aaron and I dont have children yet this is our kid. I am a little worried about leaving her. She usually stays at my parents house but since they are going with us we had to find someone else. I couldnt bring myself to board her at the kennel for five nights so this worked out great. Plus I know my sister will be talking to Ryan a lot on the trip so I can get constant updates on how my little girl is doing!

Port Orleans French Quarter (upgraded from AS Music Family Suit w/ ZJZ code!!!) 2 rooms, us kids will share one room and mom and dad will have the other. We will have a 4-day park hopping ticket with the Disney dinning plan.
Saturday, August 18: This will be our travel day. We arrive in WDW at 5:30pm and have dinner reservations at Boatwrights for a relaxing evening at the resort. We are planning on trying to catch some of the live entertainment at the Scat Cat.
Sunday, August 19: We will be heading to Epcot in the morning for EMH and having lunch at Le Celliar. We have afternoon breaks planned everyday for pool and down time at the resort. Magic Kingdom has EMH till midnight so we will be headed there for the evening and plan on having dinner at a MK counter service.
Monday, August 20: MGM will be our morning park for today with a quick switch at lunchtime back to Epcot for lunch at San Angle and then back to the resort for a brief break before heading to Animal Kingdom (yeah, get to see the Yeti!!) for EMH! I am hoping to hit Flame Tree Barbeque for dinner but I am not sure how late they are open for EMH??
Tuesday, August 21: (Our 3 year Anniversary!) We will be at MK for morning EMH and will be getting our anniversary pins!!! We will do lunch somewhere at MK before heading back to the resort for our afternoon break. Our dinner will be at Coral Reef where I have a diver surprising Aaron with a cheesy anniversary sign and a customized menu. I am hoping that everyone is up to staying out late for Epcot EMH and watching Illuminations!!
Wednesday, August 22: This will be our last park day sad, sad day! We are going to AK for morning EMH and plan on have lunch at the Rain Forest Café (OOP). My family has never been to a RFC and would really like to try it! Our afternoon will be spent poolside for our last dip in the POFQ pool and packing for our EARLY departure tomorrow! Our last evening will be spent at MGM with dinner at Mama Melrose and a little Fantasmic. Again, I am hoping everyone is up to enjoy the EMH hours at MGM this evening, since it will be our last night in WDW!
Thursday, August 23: (My 25th Birthday!) This is departure day! I am guessing Magical Express will be picking us up as early as 5:00AM!!!!!! It will be kind of sad to leave Disney on my birthday but I will be back in 30 days for 2 weeks!!
