WDW wedding cakes

You guys are great! :) Thanks for all the advice. We'll have to try both options to see which works best. They live in a very small town with no good bakeries, so this will be something my sister & I have to do on our own. We'll do a lot of practicing, before the big day. I'm sure my DH & DS will be sick of cheesecake by then. :p I had one other idea, & would like opinions on it. I was thinking of somehow doing a white chocolate shell on top of the cheesecakes. I'm not sure how to do it though. I'm thinking it would add a hint of the choc. flavor, but not enough to detract from the taste of the cheesecake. What do you think about that idea? Thanks again :)

I just wanted to add that I found a recipe for chocolate glaze on cakecentral.com. (great site :) ) Would it work to replace the bittersweet choc. with white choc?

Not sure about the white chocolate but I just wanted to say that if it is a disney themed wedding you can order one of these for the top

How many will the mini wedding cakes feed? It will be My DH, Me, DS9 and DD7? Are they big enough for us all to eat for dessert? We spent our HM in Disney and I would like to have one made for us :goodvibes

Thanks again for the help. :) She's having a southern belle wedding. She's having 9 attendants, along with a flower girl & mini. bride. Can you imagine the sea of fabric. :p

Mini wedding cakes are only one serving, you might be able to split it but it wouldnt be that much. They are $25 each. You can have a 6 inch topper that feeds about 4 or more for $40 which is more cost efficient

You can look here and see the picture of them it is post number 39 on the page.
Cant get the link to work for some reason. If you go to the top of the dining thread and find the sticky that says disney food pics it is on page 3!

We had the 6 inch topper for our annivesray and it cut into 12 nice slices.
And it was $40 minus 20% with DDE card.

Click on link in my sig for pics.

Blessings,
Winnie
