You know I'm listening to my AI2 cd that I borrowed from the internet...which includes IMHO the best of Clay, Ruben, and yes Julia.

I hate to admit it - but after seeing Justin Guarini on Oprah the other day - I actually think that he is better then Ruben...I mean - the guy has sex appeal and stage presence that BOTH Ruben and Clay lack...and I like his song MUCH better then Ruben's...in fact I feel kinda sorry for Ruben - why oh why would they give him THAT song - it's not nearly as *catchy* as Clay or Justin's???

I think Justin definitely has that pop idol look. And I think that's part of what got him to the final 2 last year. He's also very personable and comes off great during interviews.

I didn't hear his song on Oprah. I had to drive my son to soccer practice. UGGGHHH.

Honesty - I was most surprised...as I wasn't that big of a Justin fan last year (Kelly all the way) but it kinda has that old Micheal Jackson aka Justin Timberlake sound...very catchy...and his stage presence...my gosh - it's better then most artists out there now...can you ever tell he's related to Samuel Jackson!!!

I can't speak for the rest of the album as I haven't heard it.

I agree with you on his stage presence. He gives a good performance and really gets you into his song. I'm not crazy about his hair, but he isn't bad eye candy, if you know what I mean.

I haven't heard his album either. I did hear his comment about how he wanted to wait on his album, because he didn't want a rushed sounding album and he wanted a lot of input.

Don't know how much of that is true, or if he realizes he has to sell his album a little more now with Ruben and Clay's album coming out.

Actually Jas, it wasn't so bad. Radio stations here are playing Clay like crazy, so I got to hear him instead.

Hope your visit goes well. I don't think you'll have a problem being able to talk after your cleaning.

One of the good things about moving was finding our great hygienist.

I didn't realize my one little coming out of the closet comment would invoke such strong feelings.

I also have beliefs that I will keep to my self about the whole sexual orientation issue. Having a gay brother, I have a unique perspective on the whole deal.

Hey Boss...just want to clarify here...

There are no pics of me in a bikini (or heels for that matter)...Being a white and of Irish decent...I go from no sun to 3d Degree burn in just a matter of seconds......so I very rarely venture out in the sun without a shirt, hat, and 90000000000 SPF on...so for me to have pics such as that is impossible

Anyway...I don't think we should blow up the spa...it's like the Grotto at the Playboy Mansion...it's legendary

Now one other thing...can we stop the Clay v. Ruben debate? American Idol is over...buy one CD or both...it really doesn't matter...but I think it's time to move on...Once again...I will admit that I have no intention of buying either CD...and it's not due to sexual orientation, looks, marketing, or anything like that...the simple truth is that I don't care for their style of music...I enjoyed the competition...but now it's time to move on to something else...

Oh...BTW...before I get off the soapbox...I will say I NEVER take an artist's looks into account before buying their music...I mean I love the Rolling Stones (have a bunch of albums...seen them a number of times...etc..)..but have you SEEN Keith Richards lately....I think the man has been dead since 1978, and nobody has told him!
