Actually I'd probably be there past New Years as well, KP. But you see...while it's crowded with all the yelling people in their free hats, waving the noisemakers, we could be SWIMMING in the 20K Leagues Lagoon with our mouths open unnoticed. It was the combination of waaayyy too much fleece capped with some kind of weird rubber/plastic emulsion that prevented any heat from escaping, thus encasing your feet in a squishy, sweaty, stinky fleece coffin. Yeah, I had a pair or two in my time.

No PS2 in my house - though we talk about getting one.

Don't get me started on the computer power we have in a 2 person house. If you're internet/network savvy at all I can make you drool. Of course then there's the network/home automation conversations DF (f=fiance) and I have been having about the new house we're having built.

No PS2, but we could multiplayer Half-life like it's nobodys business.

If we're honestly going to try to have a meet, we need some sort of logo. Something that could be printed up on tee-shirts so all who saw us would look and say "Hey, there goes a big group of weirdos. They're slightly less annoying than the Yellow People."

And my DF is the same as MK's DH - not too keen on disney. I don't even talk about my DIS habbit - no reason to let him know I'm weirder than he already thinks I am.

I bring up the logo idea now because I know it will take us most of the year to pick something. Then (since I instigated this) I have to create said logo and get everyone's approval. THEN I have to make it available to everyone (on the half of the world's computers that I control). THEN everyone needs to get it printed on a tee-shirt (don't most ink jet printers take those thermal transfer papers for tee-shirt decals?).

So, that's why I bring it up now.

Personally, I've not no idea what logo could embody the WDWWDS. And please, something practical that I could actually make into a logo. And I mean you , OT.

I'm guessing it should have "WDWWDS" and some sort of depiction of water, and maybe the logo outline could look like a reverse (black on white) chalk circle. Or oval. Fab, fab idea Kim - you rock!

All I can say is wire that new house up the ying yang, Kim. CAT 5, coax, and phone to EVERY room and make data closet too. Plus don't forget the surround speaker hookups, you won't regret it.

You're STILL playing Half-Life?? Well who am I to talk, I still fire up Unreal Tourney from time to time. FPS's on the PS2 aren't nearly as good as the PC due to lack of kybd/mouse control so don't get one expecting it to enjoy that type of game.

Everyone in the same T-Shirts?? Wait, can I be the one to hold up the triangular flag and lead everyone around the park? I can speak Spanish..sort of.

Ok how's this....the front says "WDWWDS", the back says "Got water?" Or how about, "I'm not with the rest of these geeks."

Love the idea of a logo Kim...I had an idea once...I have a magnet from Splash Mountain...where Mickey looks pretty upset as he is wringing out his gloves....and underneath it says "Dry is not an option..."

Maybe something like that could work?
