WDW w/ 2 teen girls...help!!!

So for starters, I am NOT dreading this trip, despite the headline. My daughter and her friend are great kids and I'm not worried about them.

But, for the first time ever, I'd like to let them go off on their own. I'm not concerned about this from a safety standpoint, I'm concerned from a logistics standpoint.

Will their magic bands work without me there? Can I make them G+ and LL selections that are just for them? And what else should I be considering here?

1. Yes. Bands will work.
2. Yes. When making a LL reservation you pick on I believe the second screen, which members of your party it is for. Both girls would need to be listed in your "Friends and Family" group. The girls would also be able to make their own LL choices if they have a MDE account or have access to yours.
3. Considerations: Do you want them to have charging privileges on their Magic Bands? Do they have reliable cell phones and service in case you need to get in touch quickly?

thank you so much! Yes, I would like ONE of them (haha) to have charging privileges. And at least one of them will have cell service.

My 15 year old was logged into the MDE app with my account info on his phone so he could make LL reservations for us(seriously, refreshing for hard to get LLs was like a game for our group). The other reason to have him logged in was so when he separated from us briefly he could make his own LL plans. Both when you make and cancel a LL, it asks who is included in the action.

Staying on site? We did have to stop at the front desk of our resort to get charging privileges activated for his magic band (quick and easy). (Thank goodness he tried unsuccessfully to use it at the food court arrival night or we would have just headed to MK the next morning not realizing he had no $ power.)

We'll have 2 teens and we're going to let them do their own thing. We're at Swan so no charging to magic bands, but I AM going to put our credit card (100% trust them) in their apple pay thing, and am going to get their MDE accounts set up soon.

We'll still do stuff as a family. And one kid will be with me and the other with my husband sometimes, too. I'm worried more, lol, about my husband. On a scale of 1-10, as far as techy stuff goes, the kids are 10, I'm an 8, and he's maybe a 4. No social media, etc. He's an engineer but doesn't embrace everything. Which is okay.
