WDW vs. DLR Thrill Rides

Yes it is. We visited DL not long after it reopened. When we went to WDW in December we were hoping that the Space Mountain there had been done the same way. Unfortunately it wasn't the same.

My DH & I really like the updated version at DL.

Well, we got back from our trip last Saturday. Thanks everyone for your advice. We rode almost everything at DLR. We still skipped Splash Mountain but only because, looking at the boats, it looked like the handholds were on the sides and not in front of you (I'm very picky with things like that). We got really lucky because we rode the Indiana Jones ride three times and got to go through all three doors. It really is a lot like Dinosaur, which is my favorite ride at AK. We also rode Space Mountain a ton. I wasn't a fan of the soundtrack, as I thought it made it kind of cheesy, but the ride itself was fun, though it seemed a lot tamer than WDW. I was looking forward to Rockin' Space Mountain, but I guess they did away with that.

We also did the Matterhorn a bunch of times. We did the wimpy side the first time because the other side wasn't running, but we rode the other side every other time afterward.

I like to check the Disboards before I go to the DIsney parks so I know what rides will be down and I can be prepared. I read that only Star Tours would be down, which was no big deal, but when I got there, not only was that down, but so was Toy Story Midway Maina, which wasn't a big deal either because I'm sure it's a lot like the WDW one and I tried that already, but they also closed down the Haunted Mansion! And only to update it for that stupid Haunted Mansion holiday, which is way too early to do that anyway. I was so angry because I was really looking forward to that ride. And I was disappointed inh the Disboards for not being up to date like they usually are.

As for DCA, we skipped a few rides as recommended. We also still skipped SOain' for my wife's sake. I couldn't talk her into it. Because of all the rides we felt compelled to skip, I felt DCA was a bit of a letdown, but not terrible. We still spent the bulk of our time in DLR, though.

Anyway, thanks again for all your help getting us prepared to ride.
