WDW vs DL - What's the deal with the castles?

My favorite castle is at DL Paris, it is so detailed and beautiful. I was truly impressed when I saw it, even more so than DW.
There is also a dragon underneath

Granted, I've only seen pictures of DLRP's dragon, but I can't imagine it looking more impressive than Murphy (Disneyland's new Fantasmic dragon for those who don't know). Granted, the location can't be beat of DLRP's dragon underneath the castle and all .

You think that all those people making out in the parks are just teenagers enjoying being away from parental eyes. But probably you're seeing Judy and her DH, enjoying being away from filial eyes!

There is a multi-billion dollar industry selling pills that do what the castle does for the cost of an AP!

Ummm...is that what I think that is? Was that like, the Bret Michaels' hey-ohh? I have to confirm (doggone text!) before I die of laughter.

The dragon at DLP's castle is more cool because it is there. Just the idea that there is a dragon down under the castle is cool. For the most part it is dark and you cannot see much.

I have not seen Murphy yet with my own eyes but you are right Murphy will be the coolest Disney dragon. If they ever get him to work right.

Hi all,
I can say living on the east coast we have been to WDW 20 times. Seeing cindy's castle at the end of main street is a great thing to see.
Saying that we have been to DL 2 times and our 3rd trip is in 50 days and counting. We knew that Beauty's castle is smaller and we really didn't care. After one day in DL my daughter turned to me and said I love this park better than wdw I said me too. Don't get me wrong I love WDW but there is feeling when we walk in DL like walt is still there. We don't feel that at WDW. I can't wait to see that dragon thats all my DD talks about.
How many times can we see fantasmic this trip. we did 6 2 years ago in 4 days.

What I saw of Murphy over Labor Day Weekend was quite impressive. Don't get me wrong as I think it is cool that DLRP has a dragon. I just can't imagine it looking as impressive as Murphy does. Even though I know how the story ends, now it feels like little Mickey really is in danger, especially when she turns her head and glowers at Mickey.

Before Murphy, there were compelling arguments for both coasts as to which Fantasmic was better. I think it's a different story now.
