WDW Vs Disneyland

been to dw several times and took our first trip to DL this year. To me the smaller parks were great. Nothing seems to be missing except the long trek! It is so easy to park hop! To me the region offers more too. We visited beaches and also seaworld and universal. We seemed to have spent more on food. Otherwise, it was a nice change of pace while still having all the perks of dw.

I have been a die hard DW fan since I was 18, now the story changes. Last Christmas I went to DL and feel in love. Going back in 2 months and don't think I will ever go back to DW. It's not as big as DW but the park itself is not lacking a thing. I can't wait till September. If I know after 9 months I would of been going back I would of bough the Annual passes.....but guess what I am doing that this yr. While my legs can get me around ( I have MS) I am going to someplace that gives me what gives me happiness. :cool1:

I am in Cal now and will be arriving at Disneyland later in the week. I grew up going to DL and now spend 2-3 trips a year at WDW. I have always loved DL more. There is something about walking where Walt did. The charm of the park and all the details are amazing. A few years back DL lost it's charm in the bad years. For the 50th it all came back and is better than ever. As for hotels...The Grand Californian is my favorite hotel on any disney property. I can't wait for DVC villas to be built there. The disneyland hotel has the nicest property that can only be matched by AKL at WDW. GO TO DISNEYLAND...
