WDW VMK Closing

I was lucky enough to be at closing yesterday and it was a great weekend! Unfortunately, there were hardly any quest items left and the computers to create a park character were off until late morning when the manager came in and turned them on for us.

It's a good thing we got out quests the previous day otherwise there would have been nothing left. One of the castmembers later found a few items, like the animation viewer, HSM stuff, pirate fortress rooms and a few mickey TV's, but that was all. Red Space ran out the night before.

It was fun meeting a bunch of pther DIS there, and putting some faces with the names! Here is a group pic, and I hope youwill all send me any names I might be missing cause I didnt remember them all!

Mansion was great and the Dole Whips even more fabulous!

Oh and BTW, we got a REAL DREAM TEAM DREAM!!!!!!! AS we walked into VMK Central on Sunday Morning, a CM followed us in and I just thought they were there for VMK, so we got talking about it and what a bummer there were no quests. She said "Well let me tell you who I am....." and I yelled "Are you Yavn?? OMG!! Do we get inferno!" we all laughed! She explained how she was with the Dream Team and that we would have a private meet and greet with any Disney Princess we picked!! SO of course I jumped up and down a few times and we all yelled Cinderella when she asked which one we would want, we also got Snow white too!

Anyways, it was agreat weekend, and I was told the VMK Central will be another bippi-boppidi-Boutique, and was also told it would also become a Gallery, like teh one on VMK, who knows? They said there will still be more stuff coming out, and maybe even new stuff today at MGM for VMK by taking some tour..............Not sure, but I'm sure we'll something about it soon!

Here are some pics from the mansion ride of the new Attic part! It was really cool! The whole ride is great and the floating Leota Head is freaky! Also there is a room when you first ride in, that looks like its full of stairs going up and down and all around!

Thanks for the update! Would it be ok to list the Titles of the people in the pictures? It sounds like that despite there being few cards you still had a good time. Cool for you and congrats on the Dream win!

I also remember TylerK and his brother - sorry brother can't remember your title They were very nice to talk to as well.

It was very nice to meet all of you and put faces with the disboard and VMK titles.

Even less known is that I set next to Briar a couple of times in the Main Salon of the Adventurers Club before we introduced ourselves. That is back when we were both active on the rec.arts.disney.parks newsgroup.
