Hey...we are long time wdw veterans who have the opportunity to go this weekend without our kids for the first time.

Does anyone have any suggestion of attractions etc that we should be sure to try since the kids will be at home?

Thanks,

We plan on spending a lot of time in World Showcase. We are having dinner one night at California Grill, we are going to Jelly Rolls and planning a visit to Pleasure Island.

Plan a dinner in WS, at your favorite restaurant too and then take an evening stroll after dark, to see the wonderful lights on.

Spend some time shopping at the Marketplace and have lunch t here.

Get up early and visit AK to see the early bird animals on the safari.

Stop for pre dinner drinks at the 50s Prime Time Lounge at MGM and then have dinner at the Brown Derby

If the lines are short, have a couple Buzz Lightyear competition who can get the highest score...

Just a few suggestions...enjoy your trip by yourselves!!!

Pleasure Island is a great night out. The comedy club is a favorite of mine. Also the Adventurers Club is a lot of fun, but you have to spend some time there to get the whole affect. My DD & her hubby were at WDW in Sept and they went to dinner at the steak house at the YC and then went to Jellyrolls for a drink. They had such a great time at Jellyrolls that they stayed until closing.

Hope you have a great time.

Thanks for the ideas...

we have a PS for Hollywood & Vine & Fantasmic and Rose & Crown...I think we are going to the Adventurers club too...

anyone else have the perfect hidden idea?

My husband and I go for several days every February without the kids! Our favorite is dinner at Alfredo's in Epcot's Italy, then head out to watch Illuminations. Afterwards, we walk around the world showcase while everyone is heading for the exits. By the time we finish our stroll, the lines are gone and getting out is easy. We also take in a tour. We have done Keys to the Kingdom and Backstage Magic. Both were wonderful! I think next month we are going to try the backstage tour of Animal Kingdom. Disney without the kids is wonderful! No fighting over what to ride next, and no complaining about having to walk so far. This will be your chance to be the kids, so have a great time!

We went in Nov. for the F&W for the first time without DS. What a blast we had. Felt a little guilty...not!!! We had a wonderful romantic dinner at Flying Fish and got the royal treatment. DH told our fav. waiter that it was our anniversary before we went for our PS. Also spent alot of time in world showcase naturally. Drank an awful lot, just spent time enjoying each others company for a change. Really reconnected and at our favorite place. I don't think we went on many rides at all, just took it all in without running from ride to ride. Enjoy!

Do a monorail drink tour !! We started out by having drinks and dinner at Cali grill. We headed over to the Poly and had a couple drinks there:crazy: and then to the GF. It was a fun night and we got to see the other resorts.

Hi!

We are WDW repeaters and have no kids, so we are always trying to come up with new fun things to do every time we go!

The afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian was fun!

We always go to the Rose and Crown (7:40 PS's) to watch Illuminations (it usually is dessert by the time Illuminations starts -- perfect!).

We agree about the Adventurer's club, but it does take a few minutes of spending time in there watching people to really get into it (you have to hang in there for a bit to really start getting into it...but it is so much fun!!)

Drinking around the World Showcase is fun as well....

We always do a character breakfast or lunch...
