Nope, not at all as Mad Hatter observed above. I just found some of your experiences so different from my own that I did not want folks to read your report and think it was the norm. IMO you had some negative experiences which are outside the norm but unfortunately happened when you were there.
And I agree with Mad Hatter, I hope you have a chance in the future to experience DLR again and have a better experience. Right now is not the best time to visit DL especially with the construction. I found the congestion at DL in March (I was there for a half-day visit during a business trip) to be intolerable especially in the evening. You did not mention that but if you had I would have wholeheartedly agreed.
You also did not get to see Fantasmic! (much better at DL IMO), the DCA stage show (awesome Aladdin show for the last 12 years but now in transition to Frozen) or the regular World of Color (best Disney show anywhere anytime IMO).
I am a huge WDW fan by the way and WDW does offer a lot that DLR does not. But in my experience DLR has tons of Disney magic that unfortunately did not seem to connect with you.

Glad that was not your perception, because I have no reason to make up stuff about Disney or my experience. I do hope to get to go there again one day. Maybe even another big family trip next year.
We missed a lot due to closures, but what we did experience attraction-wise was fun. Radiator Springs blows Test Track away. Pirates in Cali is much, much better. Small World was very different as was Big Thunder. I am a very friendly person and the unfriendly tone of DLR is where the disappointment came in...as well as the dirty parks. But, the hotel was nice and although many of the rides in DL are the same type of car/track set-up, they were fun to experience because they were different than what we have in WDW.
