As the title states I am a FP+ newbie (please forgive my ?s)

Staying offsite and was just told if I link it mde I can make fp+ 30 days out. Tickets are 3 day passes.
1. Will not have magic bands. Do tiks serve as FP+.
2. Can I only make 3 days worth of reserv.?
3. Can I cancel the week of to change days or park choices?
4. We are going in a group of 7 w/ tickets (2 under 2yo). Can I book fp all at same time.
5. How does ride share work? The same?

Yes, the RFID chip in your tickets will serve the same as the ne in a MagicBand at all tap points (you will need to link this ticket number to MyDisney Experience).

I believe that will be the case for a 3 day ticket.

You can't really cancel FP+ reservations, but you can change them at any time, subject to availability. Even if you miss an FP+ that day you can change it after to a different one as it was never consumed. YOu can change the park as well, which will zero out your current selections.

I don't know how it works for off site guests. I was able to book everyone on my resort reservation together. I think you will have to setup your "friends and Family" on MDE first then you can set them up. Also, you can copy a full FP+ scheme from one person to another (subject to availability).

5. How does ride share work? The same?

Do you mean Rider Swap for a young child? If so, it is pretty much the same. Both riders need to have FP+ reservations if you're going to use the FP entrance. The Child should not need one, I believe.
