I am guessing this is for 2019. HHI is more convenient for your trip home, but it sells out faster then VB. Even mid August. I just booked HHI for early August a month ago and could only get Fri-Mon for 2bedroom. Originally, I had booked Early June in a Grand Villa, again I could only get Fri-Mon at the 7 month mark. But we had a to cancel due to my sons girlfriends Prom. HHI is super popular in the summer.
I have been to VB twice it’s about 2 hours south of WDW, the resort is oceanfront and beautiful. If it’s the beach you want then VB. The area is very quiet.
HHI,I love but so hard to book. I don’t mind being a mile from the beach.
We are driving down this August from NJ, first stop HHI for 3 night and then on to VGF for 4 Nights.
I personally, would try to get VB or HHI.
