WDW vacation planning DVD

Can anyone tell me if there is a phone number to speak to a "real person" to do this.

I ordered mine online before Thanksgiving and nothing so I ordered again via automated telephone on Dec 18th, nothing.

I do live in So California but it can't take that long to get here???

I used the disney world online site and receieved it within a week. But that was before the holidays. I think a lot of people were getting the planning kit for christmas presents.

I ordered my video the last of Oct. and it took it almost a month before I ever recieved it, this makes the second planning video that I have ordered and both took this long.

I think mine took about a month.

I wasn't crazy about it, to be honest. It focused on the magical gatherings, and since it's just two of us going, I was hoping it would sort of go over rides in more detail, and restaraunts etc.

Did you order the DVD? I think mine took about 3 weeks to get here, I ordered them for many of my extended family members, too, since we are planning a family reunion. Some of them have received them already and some haven't, but I ordered them all on the same day.

I was absolutely thrilled with it! So much better than the VHS tapes! There was a section on Magical Gatherings, but so much more, too. I believe it took about 2 1/2 hours or so to go through it all. There are maps, floor plans, a section about each resort, special sections about rides, etc. Not much about the restaurants, though, like EsmeraldaX said. I would have liked to seen more on that, too. There is just so much in the way of dining experiences that Disney has to offer. It went over some of the other recreational activities at WDW, though.

Be sure to use your remote to view and go through everything.

It will arrive soon, I bet! I know it seemed like forever before I received mine. But IMHO, it was worth the wait!

Thanks for the heads up about the DVD! We ordered the video and absolutely loved it! My DH got a DVD player (finally) so we ordered the DVD and got it yesterday! We would have watched it yesterday, but our DDs are sick with the flu and would not have been able to enjoy it.

Also, if you've ordered one in the past year (I think it's a year), you won't get a new one.

I e-mailed them on Monday because I wanted to know what was going on, and they said:
"Were so sorry you haven't recieved it yet, we will get another one right out to you. You should get it in........6 weeks????"

....Nice customer service....

Don't let it upset ya....you're going to Disneyworld darn it!! I got my DVD about 2 weeks ago and I haven't watched it yet. Not going til 2006 though, but no I won't wait THAT long to watch it!! They will probably have new ones by that time...and I'll get those too.

I ordered mine early November and it took about a month to receive. All I can say it is well worth it. I loved looking at the new resorts and my children loved previewing the rides.

I loved the DVD, so much better than previous years. You REALLY have to watch EVERYTHING. There is tons of information, but you MUST watch EVERYTHING to take it all in. I especially like the new PalMickey program. Saratoga looks pretty nice after the change-over. Great previews for Mission Space too.
