I didn't win THIS trip(that I know of) BUT we won a Disney World vacation!!!!! Looking through the Official Rules of this contest and the one that we won the contests are VERY similar. We're waiting to officially hear back with the dates and where we'll stay and all the fun stuff. We are BEYOND excited. I've never won anything close to this in my life!

They do but I thought it cost more and figured they wouldn't pay the extra money for weekend delivery...

Yes they do. My daughter won the 2014 American girl doll of the year Isabelle from radio Disney the Sunday before New Years and it was delivered that next Saturday by FedEx. We were expecting a 6 weeks wait but it came three days after it was released. now if we can just win the trip it would be awesome. Pushing for disneyland if we win. We are AP holders to WDW but would love to go to DL when the haunted mansion is decorated for the nightmare before Christmas.

DD(7) really wanted an American girl doll for her bday. So we took her to AG in Chicago and planned it for the weekend the magnificent mile was having lights fest. They have stuff going on all day, a radio Disney stage set up, booths, and all kinds of fun stuff. Then there is a parade at night where Mickey and friends come from Disney World(of course!) and light up the mag mile. We always watch it on tv so it was fun to get to see it in person. It was freezing out. SO cold! I think it was the coldest its ever been in the history of that parade.haha We have a 1 1/2 yr. old too and he was a trooper!
ANYWAY being as oblivious as I am I didn't even realize there was a contest. Looking back, it was everywhere. I guess it just never clicked. A week or so later I was on FB and the magnificent mile posted that there was still time to enter their photo contest for a chance to win. I thought "what the heck, may as well enter I have tons of photos from that day". So I entered this pic of dd and kind of forgot about it. A few days later I saw she was one of the top 20 finalists. Then the voting started (didn't even realize it was going to be a voting contest). BUT many many votes later by friends, family, and lots of strangers we won!!! It was a long process of waiting for the announcement, as there was someone who had cheated in the last few minutes of the contest. They went up by hundreds within minutes. So the announcement was delayed by a few days(talk about stressful! I could hardly function.lol) Then they announced it via instagram just before Christmas!!!!!

DD is very excited. At first she was very concerned with what happened with the person who cheated(I didn't ask any questions, so I don't know) since last she knew they were in first. We didn't want to get her hopes up. It was a good lesson for her on why cheating is bad too. She is SO EXCITED and the number one thing on her list is to meet anna and elsa. We went when she was 3 with our whole family but we didn't do much princess stuff because she was the only girl. So lots of princess stuff this time hopefully! Along with some Mickey and Jake for our son

We had to fill out a questionnaire from Disney where we picked a few dates and ranked hotels in order of preference so now they will match those with the dates and we'll see what they decide! I CAN"T WAIT to get all that info. from them!!! That American Girl doll paid for herself x 100!lol

wdwjenny, I am so happy you won. I like to enter sweepstakes but I skip anything that involves voting because of the cheating. We had to rank the deluxe resorts. They said we're not guaranteed to get one but they try their best. We went with Contemporary as #1 and GF and #2, then I think it was BC, YC, BW, AK, POLY and Wilderness.

The thought of having the monorail come to us and not have to fold up the stroller every time sounds AMAZING!lol We'll probably spend the most time at MK. The only place we've stayed at is POP. We did go into Contemporary for Chef mickeys and GF for just a minute or two.

I won it through the magnificent mile in Chicago. It was a photo contest. I just posted about the details on p.33 but didn't post the pic. here it is:
dd was looking up at the john Hancock. She had been following it in the skyline on the interstate since she knew that's where we were going.
