so exciting, i hope someone from here wins! i entered once a day so far and yesterday i miss a call from cocoa, fl on my phone - i listen to the message and it is half cut off, someone saying ...at either location, press one for your travel agent and 2 if you have no interest for travel. i freak out and call back and the number is out of order....just my luck

Hahaha....that happened with a lot of folks last year too. As I remember, the winning calls came from Ventura Associates in NY. I think one of the earlier posts listed the area code. Many people were also contacted with a package from FedEx.

I won some $$ in a magazine contest last spring and was notified with a large envelope left on my front porch by FedEx. Thank goodness it didn't blow away.

What time of year are folks thinking about if they win? I work in a school system and have high schoolers, so off season is out for us. We would try to go in late June or mid-August.

Kirby, do you remember what the black out dates were last year?

I've always wanted to go for the Food & Wine Festival, but DH is a soccer coach and that is in season. But boy, we could do some delicious damage with that $500 gift card!!

Not that we're likely to win, but I hope its phone or email notification like I thought I read in the rules - we're fulltime RVers who live in our Motor Home. Our address is a mail forwarding service. Heaven forbid we win and never get the notification!

I haven't entered yet myself. I'm still basking in the glow of my recent winning of MegaMillions Lottery. Yep, thats right. I got 1 number right and won $1 so I can say I won MegaMillions. Have no idea why the news media hasn't contacted me yet for the standard winners interview.

I think the days that were blacked out were the week of Christmas and Easter but almost everything was open! We were notified by phone and then an email. The area code was 212. We went Oct 17 to Oct 24th and had a great time at the food and wine festival. If I was to win again I think we would go around the same time!

I would want to go during that magical time when you had Halloween decorations then Christmas decorations. We have never seen the Christmas decorations and would love to be able to go when they were up. Ahh to dream
