We having only been in May, September and mostly January. Not too crowded at those times. January the weather is around 22-25 deg.

Can I ask, did you enjoy the Segway tour at Fort Wilderness? I didn't realise there was one there and a sedway tour is something my DH has always wanted to do.

I'm curious about the weather in Orlando in January, I've heard it can get really cold?

We have done the Segway tour many times. My wife loves the Segways. Training is included. Originally we did it in Epcot but only now at Fort Wilderness. We generally book when we are there. This way we can check the weather, if it rains will be a problem. Provided there is availability you should have no problems getting a booking. Only runs some days. It starts at Meadows in Fort Wilderness which is in between Settlement and Outpost. Can take some time to get there. Normally we catch the bus to MK and then boat across and then internal bus for Fort Wilderness.

Christmas 2017 the weather stayed around 22C and nice sunny days

The weather this year was between 16 to 27 C. Sometimes it can get down to very low temps and we have seen sleet but then the next day it can go back to 22C.

Generally mid December to mid January we would only get 1 or 2 rain days and we go every year.

We made it home last night.

IMO the 2 weeks before Christmas is the best time to go. Reasonable crowds and Christmas decorations are great.

We start booking the DVC room before we leave. We are past NYE with the booking.
