Hi! I've gone to Disney many times, but have never stayed in the resorts, so that is my goal for either September or November. I called CRO yesterday to find out about ASMovies, with 3 day hoppers for two (me and my will be 9 by then daughter :flower: ). I was quoted $1000.57 for November 6 for 5 days. I asked if I had a pin code and he said I didn't:(

So, anyhow, would I be better off doing it separately??? Plus has anyone done the breakfast in the castle? Is it worth it? My daughter loves Cinderella and I would love to treat her :goodvibes
Thanks for the help!!!

According to my calculations, you would be just a tad better off booking it yourself. For 5 nights at ASMovies, I get 559.35. For (2- 1 A 1 C) 3 Day MYW Tickets with Park Hopping from Ticketmania - 400. You could probably get the tickets just a little cheaper with a Mousesavers discount or perhaps getting them at undercovertourist.com?

As far as the breakfast in Cinderella's Castle, I think your daughter would love it. My neice couldn't hardly eat, she was so excited. It was a good time for all and very worth the money. Be sure to book it exactly 90 days out or you might not get a reservation.

Thanks for your help. I think that I will book room only and just make payments on that. I think I've done better with buying tickets separately. What about the dining option though...is it worth it??? I definately want to do the Cinderella breakfast then :goodvibes Thanks!

If you are staying 5 nights I would definitely go with a 5 or 6 day MYW ticket options. Its only a few dollars more than the 3 day and you get two more days at the parks.

and get a quote from them for the package with room, tix and MYW Dining...

Have a Great trip!!!

Breakfast in the castle is worth it. We did it in 2002. My kids loved it. We had missed out on this on other trips and it is worth the expense in my opinion. (I am a cheapskate.)

Back in 2002 I was only able to get a reservation though friends I made on this board. Not sure if reservations are so difficult to get now. I bet that they are.

It is worth a little extra to stay onsite. That makes it a vacation for the driver in the family.

You could save $124.30 (incl. tax) on your room by going during Value season, which includes all of Sept.

Value Season for Value Resots: January 1 - February 16, August 28 - October 4, November 27 - December 19

Also, if you have a AAA membership, you can get 15% off your room rate during Regular Season or 20% off during Value Season, so the AAA rate would cost roughly $384.04 (incl. tax) for 5 nights in Sept.

Subscribe to the Mousesavers newsletter here: http://www.mousesavers.com/newsletter.html Some of the best prices on WDW tickets are available only through the link in the monthly Mousesavers newsletter. It is ONLY $10.43 more to purchase 5 day MYW tix with Park Hopping for both you and your daughter through Ticketmania (with Mousesavers discount) than it would be to purchase the 3 day with Hopping from WDW.

I think if your family are HUGE eaters, you might be able to get your money's worth with the dining plan, but if you don't usually eat an appetizer, entree, dessert, and soda with each meal, then you can probably save more money by eating reasonably.

We save money on dining by going to sit-down restaurants for lunch when their prices are considerably less expensive than dinner prices. Also, we take our own bottled water into the parks and drink water instead of ordering soda at counter service restaurants. At sit-down restaurants, we order water with lemon instead of soda and if we order dessert, we all share just one dessert. At counter service restaurants, I often order the child's meal for myself since the portions are so large.

I've never been to Cindy's since my daughter is only 1, but hear it's great. We did have dinner with Pooh at Crystal Palace on our last visit and both kids had a blast -- I highly recommend character meals. Once again, breakfast character meals are less expensive than lunch and lunch is less expensive than dinner, so if price is a concern, dine at a character meal for breakfast or lunch.

Enjoy your planning!

Thanks Ethan's Mom!
I don't think we will do the dining plan. My daughter and I will usually split some of the meals. Thanks for the help :sunny:
