WDW transportation?

Can anyone use WDW transportation? I will be in disney with the band and because of my allergies, I don't want to go to the Animal Kingdom when the band is scheduled to go. I thought that I could jump on a bus and go to one of the other parks. Can I do this?

The way I understand it, if you have a ticket and plan you attend another park, you are entitled to ride WDW transportation.

Technically speaking, a Park Hopper pass entitles you the use of Park-to-Park transportation. Disney Resort guests are allowed the use of Resort to Park transportation, as well as Downtown Disney. One Day One Park ticket allows use of the Magic Kingdom Monorail or Ferryboat.

However... we rarely if ever ask for Resort ID or tickets.
