WDW toilets "foreign" to some

Here are a couple of potty pictures I took a couple years ago.

This one is in

Disneyland

Tokyo, of course ;).

This one was in my hotel room in Kyoto. Yes, we had a potty like the one in the Epcot House of the Future. It was pretty cool :).

On a similar vein - being from the UK, I've always been a bit disconcerted about the height of the space under the door (from the bottom of the door to the floor) - it seems enormous - being a person who values modesty - it wouldn't take much for a 'peeper' to see everything should they wish to! This seems to be the case in all public restrooms in the US.

I guess this could be useful in cases of emergency, e.g. little ones being locked in accidentally - though it would need to be a lot higher to pull myself through should I render myself unconscious!!

For the more quirky among you, check our this site on German toilets. My sister travels abroad a great deal on business and sent this to me. She has SEEN them in person and experienced what was on this web page. Her German friends don't understand what the big deal is. I don't understand how they think this works.

I saw some of those toilets last summer, but all of them are not like that in Germany.
