WDW to Universal Question

We have Universal tickets with transportation from a Disney resort. We are staying at Pop and Universal opens at 9. What time should I arrange for pickup from Pop to get to Universal at opening? This will be 12/07 and 12/08.

It takes about 30 minutes to get to Universal and, in my opinion, you probably need to be there at least 15-30 minutes prior to opening so I would say between 7.45 and 8am.

What day of the week is it? Not sure if rush hour is a consideration on the route you'd have to take (never driven) but I might shoot for 7:30 so you can be towards the front of the line when the gates open, and in case they open a few mins early. I always overestimate though!

The I4 can be busy but it has never taken us more than 30 minutes (it mostly gets congested around the Universal exits) from WDW.
