What's the best option for easy transportation to Sea World from our WDW hotel? Not necessarily the cheapest, but easiest/fastest. We will need two car seats. I'm debating between a one day car rental from one of the companies on property or calling Tony Hinds. Any other options I should consider? Thanks!

I know you can take a LYNX bus for a couple dollars. Might not be feasible with the car seats though.

We have traveled to Sea World several ways. We took the bus one year and while it was cheap (less than $10 for 5 of us each way), it took a long time due to the stops and I would not take the bus again if I had an option. We took a taxi once (before Uber and Lyft), and it was very simple, easy, and not to expensive. And then we have had rental cars which was also fairly easy).

What type of car seats do you need? If boosters, we traveled with a seat called Bubblebum. Uber Car Seat in Orlando will provide one car seat, but if both are in car seats, that wouldn't work for you unless you brought an extra one (and stored it at a locker at Sea World).

The next easiest I would say would be to rent a car with car seats. You could pick up and return at the Orlando Car Care Center (or from a hotel in the Disney Springs area). If you are wanting to get an early start, I would pick the car up the night before.

Car service round trip would be $100

Get info on a one day car rental and parking at SW costs.

Go with what is the better cost for you

We priced this out for our last trip. The price for a rental with two car seats was not much less then then price of a car service. We decided the extra money was worth the convinence of the car service. With a rental, we would have had to take a shuttle to the Disney car Center to get the car. We used mears. They did not charge extra for the car seat and booster seat. It was nice to be picked up right at the hotel and then again at the gate of sea world.

I have used mears three times with car seats and the service is great.

I thought Sea World is the first stop from Disney Springs, and even then the bus only stops if passengers pull the cord to notify the driver to stop? No?

No. There were quite a few stops. And it stops at every stop. We got on at the TTC, and it took about an hour to get to Sea World. It looks like they have moved up the time table from when we went, and from Disney Springs, it is a 20 minute ride, but I wouldn't ever do that again. It drops you at the far end of the parking lot, so imagine parking in the furthest spot (no trams) and add some distance onto that.

There are no stops between TTC & DS, but after DS the bus runs local, serving the employees at all the hotels along Hotel Blvd. and Palm Dr. Sure, the bus only stops when requested, but it is heavily used; they usually run the 60-foot articulated buses on the line.

Still, it's not a terrible option, if you don't mind the stops and you're willing to spend the extra time. At least it's a direct bus with no transfers needed.

If you'd like to explore I-Drive on the same day, you can ask the driver for an all-day pass, which is just slightly more expensive than 2 one-way trips. Lynx #8 runs up and down I-Drive about every 15 minutes. Orlando 360 on I-Drive has the observation wheel (formerly the Orlando Eye), Madame Tussaud's, an aquarium, and the brand new StarFlyer, which is the world's tallest spinning swing ride. There are also numerous smaller attractions, including go-carts and a couple of decent-sized roller coasters at Fun Spot, Mangos (a Miami-style tropical night club), and lots of chain and independent restaurants. The #8 also goes to the 2 Premium Outlet Centers at opposite ends of I-Drive.
