has anyone ever taken a taxi from one of the resorts to the orlando airport? i'm wondering about the cost.

I can't answer this because any time we fly we either have a rental car or take Magic Express. But you could probably get an answer easily over on the Transportation board.

It's around 60$ plus tip! We have done it many times in the past, lately we just rent a car if we can find a good deal. I'm not a bus fan.

You could probably do better with car service as they run about $120 + tip. You get a grocery stop and assistance in baggage.
