As reported by the Orlando Sentinel. It also said that beginning tomorrow all tickets (not just single days) will have an expiration date.

Glad we already bought our 2019 tickets....hopefully, those are still good until activated.

Thought I had a few more days to renew some AP's oh well didn't make it home in time to get it done :snail:

I bought a bunch of tickets last year at this time, right before the last price increase. I was thinking about buying some more. I like the idea that the ones now don't expire. I wonder if I should try to pick up a few more.

We typically go for 5 day trips. Now that 5-day park hoppers are over $400, I will definitely revisit the idea of perhaps a fall trip one year, buying a Gold AP for $600, and then going in the early summer of the following year. This will save us quite a bit on the ticket cost and also allow us to take longer trips without increasing the ticket budget.

I'm not sure though....this ticket increase is a LOT. I'm wondering if it will push DVC members away from the parks? When we bought at AKV back in 2008, I told DH that if the park tickets ever got too expensive, I could easily take a great vacation without going to the parks. Without park tickets, we can use the money to rent a car which would allow us to explore things like Sea World and Busch Gardens. We could also resort hop and spend more time at the new and improved Disney Springs. When I first thought of this idea, I kept telling myself that there is no way I could handle being that close to a park and not going in. Now, I have a whole new perspective on it since it will cost our family of 4 nearly $1800 for 5-day park tickets. I can see us still using our DVC for lodging, but there are a lot more things we can do with that $1800 without ever entering a park.

I'm getting a horrible pit in my stomach...
I haven't seen anywhere that a renewal price has been published.

Scratch that... I misread your post!!!

Of course it is "easy" to find, just like other things on the member site. Sign in, open MY DVC Membership tab (top right), click on "Member Benefits & More," then open "Benefit Type" (upper left), click on "Tickets & Tours," scroll way down to "Walt Disney World Annual Passes: Save on Select Pass Types," and click on it, and the next page has been updated to show current new and renewal purchase prices for AP's, including the Gold.

Seeing as though I'm no longer a member I can't get on the site.

I checked the Disney site and allears, but didn't see any renewal prices at all.
Specifically I was looking for the Silver AP, but didn't see any of the levels.

I'm happy you found Gold and Platinum renewal prices, as that gives me hope for Silver.
