I'm sure this has been discussed before but I can't find anything recent. I've read elsewhere that, though an unpublished rule, one can use unused, unexpired Disney World tickets at Disneyland. Assuming this is still true...

Does anyone know if you can use someone ELSE's unused ticket at Disneyland?

My friend is going with her brother and has left over passes from her trip to Disney World with her mom that she wanted to use. We're just wondering if there will be a problem using her mom's unused day for her brother.

If they are brand new never been used tickets, they can be used. But if they are, let's say, non-expiring 5 day park hoppers that has 3 days left to use, then no you cannot use them because they are non-transferable and when they were first used, he had to get his fingerprints scanned when checking in. therefore that ticket would only be able to be used by him. But if he's never swiped the card at a disney turnstile, then sure, you can use it.

I don't know if this has changed or not, but when I used my WDW passes at DL a few years back, they did not ask for ID and they do not use the biometric scanners at DL either.

Right, and wrong.

If you have non-expiring WDW passes with days left, you can use them at DLR one day at a time.

They are non-transferable and are not meant to be handed from one person to another.

There are no fingerprint scanners used at DLR.
