WDW tickets at Disneyland

Do you still have to go to the turnstile with your WDW tickets to turn them in for a Disneyland ticket? I just feel bad holding people up while the CM goes to process the ticket.

I used a WDW ticket at DL last Saturday. The gate CM called a lead and I stood aside while others entered. The rest of my party had entered and was heading to PP. I caught up with them, with my WDW and New DL tickets in hand, at the Partners statue. -- Suzanne

Hmmm, I thought you had to do this at a ticket booth. I did it that way last year. But I have only done it once.

It would be good to know whether it's supposed to be done at the gate or the ticket booth. Anybody else want to chime in with their experience?

Any restriction on using old, old WDW tickets? We've got a couple of old "5 Day Plus Super Pass" tickets dated 1991! On the back, the portion good for the water parks is restricted to 7 days from first entry (or 2/29/92 ) But the park entry portion has no such restrictions listed. Think they'll work?

We've got APs for DW, DGD, and myself. But DSS (step son) and DDIL want to tag along for a day or two when we go in October. They're tight on money, so I was hoping that these old WDW passes would get them in. Opinions?

(Oh, the price for this pass, which was basically a 5 day hopper plus 7 days unlimited entries to the extras, including River Country, was $145)

sorta on the same topic....Back in 2010 we went to WDW and in order to get the free dining you had to buy a 1 day MYW ticket - we had annual passes at the time and didn't need the one day ticket so we had them separate the tickets onto separate tickets (like room keys). Does anyone know if these can be exchanged at a ticket window at DL? or is there a phone number I can call to find out if I could use these on our next trip to DL? Thanks in advance

Take the WDW tickets to the GATE (not the ticket booths).

I don't know about the really ancient (1991) tickets, but you can always try it.

The 1-day tickets coded on an old room key will work fine.

Don't even bother calling Disneyland to ask about this -- they will tell you they don't take WDW tickets. But they do, and they have since at least 2001.

Thanks. The last time we went we had to go to the gate, I was just hoping they would have changed it to the ticket booth by now. We'll see how it goes on Friday.

We are going to WDW in Sept staying onsite for 12 nights then flying to LA to fly home and are going to DL that night to see the park decorated, if I add a day to our WDW tickets I can use it at DL because it within the 14 day period? Or does this only apply to old tickets
